There is no question that there are so many ways to enjoy Mario over the past 30 years. It is hard to believe that 2011 makes the 30th Anniversary of Mario when he made his debut as Jumpman in the Donkey Kong games. Since then, and with the joy of celerating Super Mario Brothers last year for its 25th anniversary, many gamers have looked to him more than any game that is always going to deliver. That isn't just with adventure as we've seen last year with Super Mario Galaxy 2, but also with the fun of sports as well. While it has been awhile since we've seen Mario in action with sports, there is always room for a new sports title for the Wii. We've seen Mario pitch and strikeout in Mario Super Sluggers, and score goals like carzy in Mario Strikers Charegd a few years ... MoreThere is no question that there are so many ways to enjoy Mario over the past 30 years. The challenge is fun, and the gameplay is also thriving, as you master your way to the top of the leaderboard in each of the leagues from flower, mushroom, and the invincible star. The gameplay is fierce as you can choose from the classic Mario lineup of favorites including Mario, Bowser, Peach, Luigi and Yoshi to just name a few. There are a few unlock.

I love this game, it's so freakin' fun! I usually play with my three kids (9, 7, and 5) and it's a blast. All 4 sports are favorites in our family. We'll spend an hour or two each night laughing and having a great time while playing.I also really like playing online when my kids aren't around. It's easy and quick to get an online game, and it beats playing against the CPU.If you want a deep sports experience, you're obviously looking at the wrong kind of game. If you want something that's easy-to-pick-up, has great play mechanics, and is enjoyable for all ages, you can't go wrong with Mario Sports Mix.

I have played this game with my kids (6 and 11). It is an excellent cooperative play game for a family or group. The controls are not too complex, good music & graphics and simple enough for younger kids to play successfully. My only complaint is that there are only 4 sports. I expected more for the price. We were hoping to unlock additional sports as we progressed, but have only unlocked additional locations. Still, it's good fun.

I don't understand why some people think this is a bad game because to me this game is very fun! This game is a blast if you have people to play with, and even if you don't Wi-Fi is great. Wi-Fi has a points system something like what Wii Sports has and if you get to 1000 you get a medal for that sport. There is alos little to no lag during online play. The game also has a lot to do for just 1 player. It will take you a while to unlock everything this game has to offer. Anyone who puts Dodgeball down has not played this game because it might be the best game on the disc! All 4 sports are well done and easy to play. I think this is an excellent title that any Wii owner and Mario fan should at least try out. The only thing this game lacks in for me is music. I thing ... MoreI don't understand why some people think this is a bad game because to me this game is very fun! This game is very well designed and family friendly. The nunchuk is not necessary for each controller, so you don't have to go purchase more materials if you don't want to or don't need to. The programmers even changed the controller directions on the pause menu based on which controller type you have. There are four games, and the kids I've watched play the game seem to enjoy all of them. The different stages make it more fun, and everyone can find a stage they really enjoy.I love the classic sounds and the classic characters.I wish there were a few more games, but I guess it would be hard to find another game to put in there, unless they did soccer or tennis (which would be pretty cool). But truly, the gameplay would be the same on all the games they could add to ... MoreThis game is very well designed and family friendly. Great game for a family.
Like the Mario party 8 review. All was well packaged. No scratches no cracks. Safely delivered and bubbled good. I loved this game out of all the mario sports games Loved Dodgeball and Basketball in this game it felt unique adding Final Fantasy characters too which I was intrigued.
Mario Sports Mix was one of my favorite games I used to play, I never owned it. I used to rent it at the video store every weekend when I would stay with my grandma. I haven’t touched my Wii as of lately, until I came across DKOldies and their amazing video game selection, especially Wii games. Thinking on the fun times I had playing Mario Sports Mix, I decided to pick up a copy here. It was awesome having the option to get the original case and manual. The game was packaged gently and arrived fast. The game case and disc looked brand new and the game plays great. I would definitely recommend purchasing here. So glad to reminisce on some great memories!
