This vest was great for helping the younger kids in our family go snorkelling for a longer period of time. A strap between the legs would have been good for stopping the vest from riding up.

I purchased 4 Marlin life jackets for my children and I and we are happy with them. The life jackets do what they should be doing; They keep us safe. We've had these for 3 weeks now and have used them a lot already and they definately keep us afloat. The colors are nice and bright and make it easy to be seen by others when we're in the water. They are comfortable to wear and don't feel too bulky, which also allows us to move quite freely.

This vest was great for helping the younger kids in our family go snorkelling for a longer period of time. A strap between the legs would have been good for stopping the vest from riding up.
I purchased 4 Marlin life jackets for my children and I and we are happy with them. The life jackets do what they should be doing; They keep us safe. We've had these for 3 weeks now and have used them a lot already and they definately keep us afloat. The colors are nice and bright and make it easy to be seen by others when we're in the water. They are comfortable to wear and don't feel too bulky, which also allows us to move quite freely.
Fits well for a six y.o. and pink colour was bright and well received. Expect it to last beyond the age of nine by the size and floatation given. Obviously the groin strap will pull when in the water depending on the fit for your child. So not a long period swimming device i.e. when we capsize. Not a 100 Newton lift so they are able to swim to safety and reboard.
When i ordered i was confident this was tbe correct weight range for me, however on the jacket itself it seems unclear if it is correct. This has impacted my piece of mind regarding the purchase. Havent used the item yet however it does fit me.
the Marlin Australia Adult Dominator life jacket is excellent for school water based activities. I have just used it for stand up paddle boarding and I love it as I was the only one in my sport class that could be trusted to go off by myself when stand up paddle boarding as the teachers could see as my Life jacket was in lime green colour and the teachers at my school know i can swim to save myself if i got in trouble
Perfect for my 35kg 6 year old boy!! He’s on a solid thick build and this fits him great, still trying to work out how to properly tighten it as there’s no tighten grips, overall…it’s a perfect fit and comfy, first used it at Jamberoo water park! It’s great.
Have used this PFD over the years and is the one I will always go to. Fits snug around the body and is comfortable, to the point sometimes you cannot feel you are wearing it despite it being worn. Keeps you warm during day as well. I mainly use this for kayaking and for me, it does not restrict any arm movements for paddling or gets in the way.
I got this to my size based on weight. It's alright when I stand but sitting on my kayak it rides up and the shoulders is upto my cheeks, super uncomfortable. I've tightened the belts to the max where I can't breathe and the foam overlaps at the front just to stop from riding up, super uncomfortable. I don't know what else to do. It does however work, kept me upfloat when kayak turned and I fell in the water.
Child life jackets are a bit confusing with various ratings and spread among adult vests. Did eventually find a suitable one for a grandchild.
