I like rice cakes and I love Marmite. As i am trying to lose weight these sounded ideal. The first bite and I thought "not bad" but then the aftertaste hit. A vile, bitter taste that lingered. Not sure if it was just my packet but others have mentioned it so perhaps not. Anyway, the rest of the packet went in the bin and I won't be buying anymore. Just horrible

They really come into their own when served with cream cheese (light version if you're feeling virtuous), which could be plain or garlic and herbs also works. The creaminess cuts through the agressive nature of the marmite. Im not a huge fan of marmite - sometimes I fancy it, so this won't be a store cupboard staple for me, but once opened, the entire packet went pretty quickly.

If you like a rice cake and marmite these are for you! I have them on their own or sometimes with a layer of soft cheese. Tasty
The savoury Marmite flavour is perfect for cream cheese or cottage cheese and whatever else you want to pile on them! Best to keep them in a tin as I invariably rip the packet when I open them.
Id prefer a stronger Marmite taste but love these nonetheless. I noticed one reviewer who didnt like them mentioned that they taste a bit like Twiglets they do remind me a little of Twiglets on the flavour front so I guess if you dislike Twiglets then avoid this product. But if you love Marmite, rice cakes and Twiglets then youll probably find these as addictive as I do.
These are great either on their own, or with M&S sandwich fillings. Not like eating cardboard, as others we have tried.
Really tasty but the marmite is a bit strong, best with some proper butter and grated cheese.
The packaging proclaims "Don't even try!" I wish I'd taken that advice to heart. These have a really strong, bitter aftertaste and not much of a Marmite flavour.
These have been a snack time staple but I will be reconsidering. I find it quite shocking that the price has just been raised by 70 pence (from 1.30 to 2.00). This does not seem proportionate. Can get plain rice cakes much more cheaply and just spread with Marmite!
