Mars SNICKERS, Twix and More Assorted Chocolate Candy Bar Pack, Bulk, 30 EA

It was a great idea and nice to have a variety of extra sweet treats in the house without having to remember to get more. However, my joy for the subscription quickly came to an end due to delivery. I do not suggest this during the summer months. When my first summer delivery arrived I was sad that 85% of the bars were a melted mess. I was impressed by the attempt given to keep them cool with a cool pack and lining but this failed to work. I gave this the benefit of the doubt. After another delivery even worse than the last I canceled my subscription. This clearly isn’t worth doing during any warm weather.

The cost is decent. The choice is some of our childhood and adult favorites.By buying this limited amount for the month one might not be inclined to eat too many bars whereas if we bought a case of 100 bars it would be easy to overdo it.Having some extras around saves time and gas on running to the store if we get the hunger for a candy bar. It works out all around.

All you need in candy bars

I used it at Halloween and was a hit with the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. One bar per trick or treater's and it saved on giving out handfuls of little miniature bars. Great price and popular candy bars

Close expiration date

Bought these for my daughters birthday and then realized the were expiring almost 3 weeks from date of purchase! Make sure you check date before buying! Unfortunately I ordered these for pick up so didn’t realize until I opened the box!

Don't ship in summer

Box arrived having toppled around in apparently every position other that right side up. The outer hipping box was hot inside when opened and the "cold packs" for shipping were hot liquid in bags. All the chocolate had melted and was nearly liquid as well. Any candy bars we opened to eat after cooling had those funky-looking white patches. It may be imagination, but we both believe they don't taste as good as usual.

Don’t order candy bars to be shipped

The first snickers I got out of the box, the chocolate had white spots and it tasted funny. Did not taste good at all. I don’t know if it had been sitting in a warehouse for a bit or what and the Twix was busted up and falling apart when I opened it. I’m upset that I wasted the money on this. I buy them in store and never had an issue.

Excellent chocolate value

Delicious variety of candy bars for trick-or-treating or grandchildren visiting. At less than a dollar a bar it's a great value...unless I eat the entire box! Lol

Not the same as in store purchase

Disappointed that this box wasn't the same as I bought in-store in Traverse City MI. I thought I was getting the same selection, but no. This box has 11 regular Snickers bars; the box I bought in store had 8 and 3 Snickers Almond bars. Didn't even think about looking carefully when I ordered more. On the upside, I was pleased to see that the candy was packaged inside a thermal bag with ice packs, so any issues with melting chocolate were avoided. Nice!

Price increase within a month

I love buying these for my grandchildren. I bought them once and they had increased almost $5 within a month when I went to reorder. I have noticed Sam's does that often on my reorders. They were not on sale on the 1st purchase either.

Sams Club needs to send better dates!!!!!

My review isn't for the candy itself but it was purchased for Halloween. The candy is dated January 2023. If I was purchasing from the store, I would NEVER buy candy with less than 3 months left on the date and there is a definite difference in the taste. They shouldn't ship it unless it has at least 6 months left!!!
