Before buying this Martell XO, I did a little research and found good reviews. However, I was so disappointed after first sip. It had a bitter tastes and was not even smooth at all. I will not recommend this item to friends/family for sure.

I have long been a fan of Martell Medallion VSOP cognac and have found it to be easily purchased locally . While browsing your web site recently, I discovered the Martell XO and decided it was time to reward myself with a treat - and, it was just that and more. Very smooth and evenly balanced with a pleasant aftertaste. The on-line experience was also easy to maneuver for the purchase. The delivery went as advertised without a hitch. I will place another order today Thank you, Wine Chateau for making this an uncomplicated venture !

It is marginally superior to Martell Cordon Bleu and, in my opinion, the greatest of the Big 4. Very little distinguishes the top 4 XOs from one another, but Martell stands out for his smoothness. However, Cordon Bleu offers the best value. I place Hennessy closely behind.
I love the smoothness and the taste of the product. My brother almost dranked the entire bottle in one sitting. I have to slow him down. The is a taste and smoothness you will remember. I will definitely buy another bottle and keep in for myself.
Based on reviews I read online and the fact that I had never had Martell cognac before, I chose to give this a shot. Not at all dissatisfied. Smooth is a gross understatement. That's something I've heard a lot about other cognacs that I thought were still rather bitter. XO, however, is incredibly smooth. This has a terrific flavor and delicious aromatics. It becomes as smooth as melted butter after the second drink. This is liquid gold, and I'll be back for more (I know that doesn't seem like a wonderful drink, but you get what I mean)!
I've been a Martell XO drinker for about 20 years. It's the only bottle of cognac I keep at home. I consistently sip it neat. Because Hennessy XO tastes and smells nicer, I find that most ladies like it. The greatest cognac on the market for individuals who appreciate a rich, robust, elegant cognac is Martell XO!
Golden liquid. When you sip from a glass, it is incredibly smooth. Additionally, you desire more. One cognac is good but not enough; other cognacs burn more.
This is unquestionably the most intricate cognac on the market. I normally smoke a mild to medium cigar with it neat. I own each of the three XO cognac houses. For a more delicate taste, my wife prefers Henney xo, and I agree with her. Of course, Martell XO comes in first.
I've never had Martell cognac before so I decided to give this a try based on other ratings I saw online. Definitely not disappointed. Smooth doesn't even begin to describe it. I've heard that so many times with other cognac that I felt were still fairly harsh. But this XO so truly smooth. The flavor on this is fantastic and the aromatics are delicious. After the second sip it's as smooth as melted butter. (I know that doesn't sound great to drink but you know what I mean!) This is definitely liquid gold and I will be back for more!

From the oldest house in Cognac, Martell XO is often overlooked for more commercial counterparts. On the palate, the Martell XO delivers a spicy, rich crescendo starting with the mellow elegance of the Borderies, followed by the intensity and finesse typical of Grande Champagne Eaux-de-vie.
