This is my first villain after the core box set and the flow of this one is much different than the original set. It feels more story-like with a clear preamble, middle setup, and final conclusion. It also seems less swingy overwhelming, looking at you Rhino, and more a test of how well you can manage your play area.

It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

While no, this pack isn't optimal for solo play, the random version you fight helps keep this encounter pack fun and fresh! While I can't wait to try it with other players, I give a 4/5 for solo players!

Marvel Champions is a great game for solo or co-op play and this new villain set adds even more replayability to the game.It also changes the co-op play significantly at a certain stage.The designers really know their Marvel stuff and continue to add more to the game in very clever yet obvious ways.
If you are a fan of Marvel Champions and are looking for an interesting and challenging scenario, this one is for you! Kang has different modes that he operates differently in and some nasty surprises in his encounter set that will keep the players on their toes!
Kang’s mechanics are unique, and playing against him is a different experience in many ways. The implementation of the time travel mechanic is nothing short of brilliant, and the cards are thematic to boot.The experience is tarnished in solo play, and he is the first villain I can say that about. The balance is wonky, and as a result, you can game the mechanics as a solo player.The encounter sets are solid, even though Master of Time doesn’t play its best outside of Kang’s villain deck. The new villainous keyword is great though, and I hope to see it on more minions going forward.As with the villains in Rise of Red Skull, I do feel like the designers have hit their stride and now know how to make great scenarios. This pack is great, because you get all those different forms of kang. Plus, it lets you have a unique play style for multiplayer.
Out of all the expansions to Marvel Champions, this is certainly one of the best investments you can make. Although it won’t be the most for your money as a full campaign box, the content here is surprisingly deep. Kang feels like an epic battle right out of the pack. Thematically and mechanically this scenario is fantastic. I imagine it will tend to be a longer game than other villains, but it is appropriate for Kang. If you are enjoying Marvel Champions, don’t waste time and pick this up as soon as you can!
This scenario took me by surprise by how grindy it felt. Kang has really interesting mechanics that you don't see anywhere else in the game.It took a long time, but I see that as a plus. It felt like a puzzle that was fun to solve the whole time we played.
Very thematic scenario for a time traveling villain. Stage 1 is a fairly normal playthrough but stage 2 is crazy with every player having to fight their own different version of Kang in a certain period of time. Once someone defeats their version they can join another player to help. Once all are defeated the heroes advance to the final stage together and face the most difficult Kang yet. One of the greatest aspects of this game is how every hero and villian is unique and makes you feel like you're truly playing that character.
