This is a pretty descent game so far. I haven't finished playing the entire game yet. Your in a future where super heroes are outlawed. You must reassemble, rebuild and customize the disbanded Avengers to stop Aim. After that you then defend the Earth from escalating threats on an ongoing basis. You can play an original Avengers story. In this game you can assemble online in teams of up to four players. This game is rated Teen, there is language, mild blood and violence. So I wouldn't recommend it for a kid. I'm really looking forward to playing it to the end.

I’ve found my time better spent leaving a Walmart video game review than playing this trash. You buy it to find out you have no avenger characters available but a child that is apparently Mrs marvel to some extent with an awful father that don’t know what is going on. Have to play hours to unlock the rest of the characters. And then, the reward for getting the characters you bought the game for in the first place, is to do the same redundant “mission” over and over again in bum settings against the same bum robots all to just level the character up for bum upgrades. Ya the graphics are cool and it’s fun smashing things with super heros but that is the extent of this game. I’m embarrassed for the creators and marvel fans for having been sucked in on buying it. I hope no one plays this as I never will once having unlocked each player and realizing it’s the same missions for the same results. I pray Stan Lee rests in peace and thank God he never saw the light of day to witness this trash bag. I’ve donated my money to the creators and I hope they lose everything on their next project. I could and would do their job ten-fold for a fraction of their salary and welcome that statement to any hiring companies

The story mode is really food and original. Beating up robots constantly is tedious but the combat for each avenger is fun. The problem w this game is when you beat and try the endgame content. Loot is just a bunch of irrelevant upgrades until power lvl 130 which is a grind. The missions are always the same w the same enemies and there are still game breaking issues 7 months after launch which cause reloads and replays. When they add content its cool for a bit but still THE SAME MISSIONS every day and the same villains. Cool skins are locked behind a pay wall and cost from 9-14 bucks. For 25 or under its a great value I bought this for full value and only play it cause I cant get my money back

I almost didn't get this game after early reviews, but I'm glad I did. The single player game is incredibly fun and fresh. If you liked the Tomb Raider games from Crystal Dynamics, you'll like this one, too. The game is beautiful, the play is cinematic, and the writing is crisp. If you're a seasoned gamer, know that the normal mode is a bit "dumbed down" for casual players. Increase the difficulty to get the tactical gameplay you're more used to!Yes, there are some early glitches while the game is loading massive amounts of content in the background. (Bad choice there, developers.) But as of this writing, they seem to resolve after you get past the first cutscene.
Early reviews of this game were bad, but I'm glad I picked it up anyway. It turns out that the single player campaign is incredibly fun! If you liked the Tomb Raider games from Crystal Dynamics, you'll really enjoy this one, too. (But if you're looking for Arkham dressed up in Marvel's clothes, this isn't going to be for you.) Like other Crystal games, this one is narratively driven. It's a story that you play through, not a game with a loose story draped around it. But even for seasoned gamers, you'll still find enough depth to have a great time. (Pro tip: up the difficulty to something above "normal" if you want more tactical, strategic gameplay.) I found skipping during the first cutscene as data loaded in the background, but everything was fine after that. Just be aware and grit through it, and you should be good. (There's probably a patch coming for this soon.) I can't comment on the MMO, but the single player campaign is meaty enough to justify the price of admission.
This game is AWESOME!!! I heard a lot about bugs early on when it first launched but they must be fixed by now because I haven't encountered any so far. The gameplay is excellent and I enjoy going on missions with different Avengers. They could have made the home screen and options menus a little easier to comprehend. It can be a bit technical to maneuver through and the load time is a little lagging but once the game play starts its very exhilarating. If those things were a bit simpler I would've given it 5 stars. All in all it's a fun game with loads of stuff to do so it should keep me entertained for hours (you won't be beating this game in a week lol). Now if only I can figure out how get credits from the challenge tier to get the original Ironman armor that I want.
I honestly enjoy this more than the Tony Hawk game that just came out but that’s mainly because I suck at it. If you are a fan of super hero games you will probably enjoy this. Each character is fun to play but the loot system is pretty bad. It all feels like it doesn’t belong in the game, and I also hate the mission structure. You’re always being thrown back into your ship so u can load the next mission and I hate that. It makes the game feel so disconnected from the main campaign. The acting and performances overall are good so it’s at least worth picking up for that alone but there are just so many things that keep this game from being really good.
I purchased this on a whim when it was pretty cheap and I wasn't expecting too much. This game actually starts out with some promise. It begins with a linear story about a new superhero. It treads familiar ground, but is interesting and carried by the voice acting. The combat is simple - a little button mashy, but it feels meaty. The characters play differently and seem to have their own strengths and weaknesses (Hulk feels bad, though). The game looks great, though, doesn't run particularly well on the PS4 pro. Unfortunately, the "games as a service" game design slowly starts to creep in. First, it's just materials and items that feel out of place in the single player campaign. Weird, but ignorable. Then you get to the war table. The war table is how they combine ... MoreI purchased this on a whim when it was pretty cheap and I wasn't expecting too much. First, it's just materials and items that feel out of place in the single player campaign. Weird, but ignorable. Then you get to the war table. The war table is how they combine (and ruin) the fairly interesting and enjoyable single player content with the multiplayer components. Missions get more and more generic and dull, cutscenes and story beats become scarcer and scarcer. The micro-transactions get more and more in your face. It's a real shame, because there was potential. It's still not an awful game. If you're OK with a solid 7/10 type game, can deal with the micro-transactions and GaaS stuff, then you'll get some enjoyment here. You probably won't play it for 100 hours, but you'll play it for a bit.
Good Points: I purchased during the Black Friday Sale, you can get a lot of game for the money when it's half price. The graphics are excellent. The gameplay does have some great moments. If you're an Avengers fan you will almost certainly enjoy the campaign. This is an action RPG gaas, if you like grinding for better loot and leveling up different characters you'll likely enjoy this.Improvement Points: It's a bit buggy, nowhere near as bad as when it first release but every now and then something will be mildly annoying. Whilst the graphics are excellent it can all get a bit of a mess on screen with just too much happening. The type of game this is won't be for everyone.
I've had this game since Day 1. September 1st 2020. I preorderd this game and I got my PS5 on Dec 2020. this has been literally my favorite game of all times. and yes I've played 1000s of games thru out my gaming years since the 80s. I unfortunately, haven't had time to play any other game just because there is tons to do in this game. never ends. which is a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this game for those players who loves Marvels Avenger and for those who have no problem in grinding the same missions over and over. now on the downside it have bugs and certain issues which they have improve but still needs much more improvements.
