Unfortunately this was the game I was most hyped about this year, and it's basically completely broken on my Steam Deck. For some reason with Vsync on, the game runs in slow motion. Not a lower framerate, rather the entire game runs slowly, like a VCR in slowmo mode. Additionally, when you turn VSync on, the menu controls break, where pressing up and down sends like 20 commands to the menu, so you can't accutally select "settings" again since it's in the middle of the menu, it'll just jump from the top menu item (offline mode) to the bottom menu item (quit) with no way to select "settings." I had to edit the ini file to turn vsync back off. With Vsync off, the entire screen tears when it flashes, which is constantly, which makes the game look broken and unwatchable. ... MoreUnfortunately this was the game I was most hyped about this year, and it's basically completely broken on my Steam Deck. And then, worst of all, the online mode is broken! You wait for hours and never find a match! The entire reason I was looking forward to this game was to relive the arcade days playing against live opponents again instead of CPU bots, and it's broken! Unfortunately with fighting games, there's only a small window at launch where they're active, so by launching with a broken online mode, they've basically doomed this game to never having an audience. By the time online mode is fixed, the audience will assuredly be gone, you can already see the player count dwindling because nobody can find a match, and history shows they won't return. Most disappointing release of 2024. I wanted to like this so much, the Marvel vs Capcom games were my favorite fighting games in the late 90s/early 2000s. I can't believe capcom would release a product this broken and charge $50 for it. Please save your money because capcom doesn't deserve this sale.

This has been one of my most anticipated releases for this year and, with my experience at least, It has not disappointed. It has everything you would ever want in a collection and with the ability to play it both on PC and on the go with Steam Deck, you can't go wrong.

Great reproduction, especially for the price. Material is very similar to original.
