There is a good balance between the mint and ginger flavors, and although the toothpaste is certainly more expensive than say Crest or Colgate I've found I can use about half the amount of toothpaste and still get that great just-brushed fresh feeling. Unlike the American brands, it also feels as though it rinses much cleaner without leaving that pasty residue in your mouth.I would highly recommend that anyone who is curious should this brand, and consider any of the other flavors. At present there are at least NINE other flavors to try. At $10.49 a tube it's no value when compared to traditional toothpastes, but is about the same as say Burt's Bees (also flouride-free) or other so-called designer brands. I've comparison shopped this brand, and so far the Amazon price is the same or better than any other US retailer, so you can buy here with confidence.Leave me a note in the comments if you try it based on my review. Get it otherwise you regret it ;) Marvis Licorice toothpaste returns the enamel to its natural whiteness thanks to good ingredients. - Silica is the safest abrasive for teeth, which effectively but gently removes plaque. -Fluorine (905 ppm) in the composition strengthens the enamel. -Xylitol protects teeth from caries by suppressing the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Another upside of Marvis pasta is an attractive retro packaging design. A brushed aluminum tube with an exquisite cap is a small work of art that will decorate your bathroom.

Excellent Toothpaste!

GREAT Toothpaste! The thick feeling of the toothpaste is great. The taste is simple and not overwhelming. The delivery service came quicker than I expected, I would say about 3 to 4 days faster, which is wonderful. I ordered the ginger mint, whitening mint, jasmine mint, cinnamon mint and the Amerelli Licorice. I've ordered these before and LOVE them all. I previously ordered the Royal, but it appears it's no longer available. Overall excellent products!

Exceptionally Good Toothpaste

I first discovered this toothpaste when I stayed at an upscale boutique hotel in Italy. It had a clean, crisp, and refreshing taste. My teeth felt really clean and my mouth felt fresh and delightful throughout the day. Fantastic Toothpaste

I love Marvis toothpastes, and jasmine is one of my absolute favorite flavors. I have used it for several years, and am so appreciative that C. O. Bigelow carries it.The shipping is always fast, and the accuracy of fulfillment is reliable.I have only one suggestion. The order was packed so well, it looked gift-wrapped, in bubble-wrap. Kudos. Whomever did the packaging really cared. However, nothing was breakable, so perhaps you would consider using paper, or some other recyclable material in the future?Thank you for providing such great service, repeatedly.

Tastes NOTHING like chocolate.

I love Maris' licorice flavored toothpaste to the point of obsession. I can't imagine brushing my teeth with anything else ... until I heard that Marvis was coming out with a limited edition 'Black Forest' toothpaste, which was supposed to taste like chocolate and cherries. Let me save you from making the same mistake I did ... this toothpaste tastes NOTHING like chocolate. It has a weird cherry mixed with perfume taste.It isn't horrible to the point that I won't finish the tube, but I do rue the day I spent twelve bucks on this hoping to get some chocolate flavour. I must admit that Marvis has missed the mark on a lot of it's 'special edition' flavours. I have had 2 other limited ones which tasted nothing like they were described.
