I love my Maseur sandals! I remember wearing my parents’ sandals around the house when I was a kid in the 90s, then I bought myself a pair a couple of years ago after trying on a friends and becoming instantly obsessed. I recently bought two more pairs as gifts for my sisters who tried mine on and wanted to steal them. I use mine as indoor shoes and rarely walk around the house without them. I find that my feet are warmer wearing these than socks or slippers (in a Melbourne winter!) because of the increased circulation in my feet, but they are still comfortable and breezy in a tropical summer. Highly recommend!

I bought these to replace my old Adidas slides with nodules. So far, the maseur slippers have been far superior. When I put them on, the instant relief of that "good pain" (not really pain!) felt so invigorating. Honestly, I felt energised! The neutral colour also makes them nice and understated - I'm over flashy branding! - and I'm thinking of getting the black ones too. The adjustable strap hides my bunions and keeps the slipper super comfy.My ONLY low-key issue (reduce by a quarter of a star? Haha) might be that the sizing seems slightly off. I am size 7 and bought the size 5 slipper as advised. However, I feel this is the perfect fit yet the box seems to say that you could also wear this is you're a size 8. I couldn't find my favourite brand, so I decided on tried & quite true Maseur. I have held the view that the base should express sole contour, so that the massage nodules can have uniformity & durability. Maseur has retained the original design but I suspect that nodule material has been improved. There is no sign of deterioration after a month of daily use, but still early days. For a 1st timer user an extended break in period is advisable, otherwise the sandals may be discarded. I think some work on the strap is worth investigation. I have had some soreness towards the toes, both sides, but left little, has had minor abrasion.
They're the best. Tried others but always come back to Maseur. Only problem is I have to buy some every year as the top part is not leather anymore. Bring back the leather as the 'fake leather' tops split and the soles are still perfect
I am very happy with my fantastic Maseur Sandals, they arrived in good time and in good condition. I have always worn Maseur sandals and my old pair were missing lots of their nodules. It was a very simple and straightforward process to find the right size and to order on-line, not something that I would normally do as I like to support local businesses, however finding local stockists of these sandals is not easy any more. Great experience and would recommend McPherson's highly.

My last pairs were black and size 10 as I'm ladies 43 (I have long thin feet, so I'm definitely Aus Women's 11 more like 12, NOT 11 but maybe 10. That's why I sized up instead of down as the sizing chart indicates overlap between the 9 and 10s for Size 43s. Those were way too big so I now buy the Size 9s and they're perfect for a long thin AUS 11/EUR 43 foot. The bumpy bits fell off very quickly so their lifespan was limited (as you might read in other reviews). WHATEVER. But my point is really that these sandals are so good for my sore feet, that they're still worth it to me even if they don't last as long as expected. If you buy these and expect them to last as long as they did in the eighties, you're going to be disappointed. If you have wicked sore feet and think these might help you with them, buy a pair knowing they'll possibly need replacing soon and see how you go. I didn't regret it!!!!
Why did they change them? They used to be awesome. Underneath the shoe is slippery. I had to get stickers for them. They keep falling off. Just dangerous. I used to buy them all the time. Never again, unless they go back to what they used to be.

I've gone from wearing them around the house, to wearing them to the shops, school runs, even casual events like barbecues. My husband teased me recently for wearing them to the movies, but they just feel so good. Best thing is the pain in my feet is gone, and I have a lot less hard skin to take care of. Me and my feet loves these slides! At first, I thought they would be too sore to wear but in a few days, after wearing them for 10-15 minutes at a time, I’m totally dependant on these slides! My feet actually crave being in them. Great to relieve pressure and tiredness from feet after a long day and super comfortable and supportive. Wow!
