It would be awesome that supports double SIM cards, dual USB C and gigabit ethernet, the network speeds are good but they dont surpass 100 Mb, and direct tether to a computer, over all good product with a lot of features and some things to improve. The SD card doesn't seems to work, i love the repeater mode via wifi or ethernet, i've been using it while traveling, to change providers you have to switch the SIM card and restart the router, the battery doesn't last that much but with so much features its understantdable. maybe the 5G version could cover much more, its an awesome router!

This little thing is an amazing and powerful little router.A few things I love about it:1) Can serve as an external battery to charge your phone or similar USB based device2) Excellent privacy features -- built-in support for VPN connections. allows you to use custom DNS.3) Has 4 methods of connection to internet (celluar/GSM based connection, Wi-fi repeater, WAN through Ethernet with supplied "mini-dock", and USB-tethered); the especially cool thing is that you can re-arrange the priority level of each and create a failsafe approach (e.g. if cellular isn't working, then use local Wifi repeater mode, and if that is also not working then try to use Ethernet connection).

Was initially thrilled that there is a router that can support so many LTE Bands but when I got it, the battery life is bad as my previous router (Huawei e5885ls-93a) can easily lasts 20 hours on one charge (6000mah battery)The Mudi V2 gets extremely hot as well and there is only one reason why it gotten so hot, the software that runs the Mudi V2 is very inefficient and uses alot of CPU, thus it got very very hot. Possibly damaging the battery in the process.Other functions like repeater function doesn't work very well and will cause the router to hand and the web interface to crash, not very ideal for a finished product which should be rock solid. One of the times the repeater function caused the 2.4GHz wifi to have issues, and I'm unable to connect to 2.4GHz ... Did the update of firmware smoothly, did a lot of configurations and some tests by Wireguard. My smartphone Xiaomi 4G was able to get around 50Mbps of download with the VPN turned off and the Router was always between 20 and 30Mbps.When I turned on the Wireguard VPN, the speed got stable between 20 and 30Mbps, just got a higher latency, sometimes of 1 second... It's high! Not so good for VoIP calls, but to surf in the Web it's ok!I'm still doing some tests, but until now seems very good! Need to test the battery during one complete discharge to see how many hours can last.
This is a great device, however, i am puzzled how come not proposing a travel device in this format supporting 5G. I can imagine it will be slightly more expensive, but this is the reason we purchase the Netgear that provides the 5G capabilities sine ling time now.Food for thoughts maybe.Other features or improvements for the upcoming devices. Please implement vLans management. At the moment, in such device, it is only with the main vLan plus the Guest. We would like to be able to add other vLans if we can.Best regards,Ben
It's a device that's perfect, but it heats up over time and charging is slow and it takes a lot of time to charge 100%Other than that I loved it very much very excellent he helps me in my trips and in the university while I work as it support
Thank you very much, everything is fine. Super fast shipping. The Mudi V2 is a real all-rounder. Perfect router for anywhere. Best regards and see you soon
Bought as a back up portable solution. No field test done yet but, after some test at home, it should be good. I've worked with the "v1" version before and it was fine.
This is my second Mudi device and I expected some new features and performance in comparism with my Mudi V1. But it seems that there is no difference in functionality and performance. Not a big deal for my as I needed a second device to be online longer than just 6-7 hours.
