This towel is fantastic in so many ways. It takes very little space when I am limited to carry-on baggage. It's super absorbent and dries incredibly quickly. But the BEST thing is *how* it works for me. I have curly hair, which becomes a frizzy pouf when I use regular looped cotton towels after washing it. The texture of the NanoDry towel is smooth (not looped) so that it absorbs excess water from hair without disturbing the hair cuticle (thus, avoiding frizz). I use my NanoDry for regular bathing/hair washes at home, and since it's so small and light, I can carry it on trips for smooth, curly style.Bonus: since NanoDry towels are colored, I don't lose/forget them among white hotel towels.

I use this towel every day or every other day to shower at the beach and gym. It works perfectly. It drys my wet hair and body off completely. I’ve yet to fully saturate this towel while drying off, it always seems like it could hold just a little more water.Feels good on the skin, but does drag a bit.If you’re expecting Egyptian cotton luxury towel, you’re gonna be disappointed.If you need packable, light towel that dries in five or 10 minutes, you’re gonna love it.The silicone case is great for storing the folded towel, but it must be spread out to dry. I’ve left it folded after use overnight in the silicone case, and it was still wet the next morning.

I have had cotton towel that absorbed less water than these. Light weight, compact, and the anti microbial properties actually work. When I’m not using their towels for travel I use them 3x a week at the gym. My only wish is that they’d make an XL. These towels are so thin that it’s worth the extra little size to have the luxury of body coverage in public.

The rubber case is stretchy and durable, feels quality. The carabiner is anodized aluminum and it's also really nice. You can tell they didn't cheap out on anything. Even the packaging it arrived in was really slick. Really impressed overall.To sum it up, this is a really great product overall. I've used it 3 days in a row at the gym and it's my go-to from now on. Highly recommend to any gym folks that hate carrying a full size towel.

This is one of the greatest travel products I have bought in the past couple of years. The towel is incredibly lightweight/packable and gets the job done. I tested it out the night I received it and dried myself over after a shower. I was incredibly dry and didn't need to ring this towel out. I hung it on my shower bar to dry and was bone dry within less than 30 minutes! Not sure if that's the usual dry time length for this towel but color me impressed!

5 stars for what it is.

It’s not the best excuse for a towel but hey it works. I’m about 6,3” and this dries me off pretty well. The towel was very saturated and didn’t look like it had any available drying area left. Hung it up and it was all dry and ready to put away prettyquick. A huge plus for this towel is that you can actually pack it unlike any normal towel which pretty much takes up all the room in your pack. When it’s this or no towel at all than I choose this. As for durability only time will tell. It’s made of the same material I use to clean my glasses.

Amazing towel for travel

I love my Matador bar soap bag and shampoo/conditioner bags. Best ever. So when I saw this towel in store , I had to try it! I have a severe contact allergy to fragrances. This can make traveling a chore. More items have fragrance in them than you think. Therefore, I have to take a lot of things with me. (Pillowcase, bath towel, hand soap, dish soap, etc…) This towel is AMAZING! Lightweight, easy to pack, impressively absorbent, and dries quickly. Awesome problem solver for me. Haven’t used for the beach yet but I think it will be great. Highly recommend!

Great Alternative / Backup

I travel with this towel as a backup / emergency item. You can clip it to the outside of a bag, or stash it inside, or on your personal bag as it requires little room. Soft, absorbs great, and solid peace of mind. It doesn't replace a proper, plush, bathroom towel, but it's great to have if you use AirBNBs throughout Europe as you never know what to expect in off the beaten path cities. Or sudden downpours!

At about $35, they seem a bit pricey, but I promise, they are worth every, single, hard-earned cent.The fabric seems really thin, but that's it's strong suit. That's what makes it magic! This fabric is unlike anything I've seen before. Very light, very thin, but very durable and holds water like a sponge! They say it holds 2.3x it's weight in water, and I believe it. I dried my entire body and wrapped my hair (and I have medium length hair). It sucked so much water from my hair that my locks dried in no time, and then...as and added bonus...the fabric is thin enough that you can wrap and knot it at your waist like a wrap skirt!

I haven't left for my Camino hike yet, my second one. my last REI towel I had was lost in the mail last October. Yes Spain Postal service lost a lot of my hiking gear. I had the lost REI towel that I had for twenty plus years.i read up on the reviews on the different towels online with REI and decided to try this towel out. when I received the towel, I thought, this is the weirdest material I ever saw for a towel. I decided to give it a try here at home. it drys me just as fine as a heavy bath towel. it does soak up the water quickly and I hung it to dry and it took a bit of time in a cool room with out window. After a few uses, I ended up putting my normal bath towels back in the closet and just use this one. On the towel case, I will probably leave that at home as it adds weight to the backpack. the case is kinda heavy. Hiking 500 plus miles, each ounce counts.
