Maui Babe Amazing Browning Lotion with Coconut Oil 8 fl oz (236 ml)

I intended to buy the other version of this but did not read it when I grabbed it off the shelf. This is the "newer" version with the coconut oil and it is considered a tanning accelerator. It is good, it doesn't have an awful smell like the reviews of the other ones say. I use this for indoor tanning and I do think it does what it is intended to. The bottle says to apply 15 minutes before tanning and it makes sense, this stuff is very oily. I noticed after applying, tanning, then coming home to shower a lot of this does rinse off in the shower (SO do your best to avoid white clothing on tanning days). Bought the wrong one, but not mad about it!

I bought this with the intent to do "Indoor Tanning" after leaving the store and looking at the product better I realized I grabbed what appears to be the "newer version" with coconut oil added. I agree with most of the reviews it is a greasy product, almost similar to just using baby oil. However the instructions on the bottle do say apply 15 minutes before tanning. The smell isn't bad nor is it too strong. The tan comes out nice, but I notice that after applying this, tanning, then showering a lot of it appears to was away with the water. This does seem like it will get on clothing or anything you rub against so just be cautious when putting clothes on after and stay away from whites until after the shower!

I would rate it a 5 out of 5 for beach tanning results but an overall 4 out of 10 because it takes longer to apply before the streaks disappear and it is greasy. I still recommend Maui Babe Browning Lotion to all of my friends and family. I really liked this product it gives you a nice glow and definitely helped me tan faster. I wouldn’t recommend being in the Sun for too long since this has no spf in it. Otherwise i definitely recommend!

I think I just fell in love!!

I'm new to self tanning of any kind, so I thought I'd take baby steps and see how it goes. I used this lotion for the first time today and spent a little over an hour in the sun without burning, which I normally would have. I also saw a small, but definitely noticeable difference (tan) after just one use.Is it greasier than I would have liked....yes. Was the smell initially a bit off putting....yes. But overall & so far, I really like this product & will definitely continue using it.

Wonderful coconutty cappuccino smell!

This product is AMAZING! The formula is greasy, but if you dont slather on too much it absorbs into your skin quickly. The smell is absolutely wonderful, like a coconutty cappuccino! You do need to wash you hands after applying because it will build up on your hands. I used this once and have a pretty decent base tan for my first time out this summer. I highly reccomend!

Yay for no mineral oil!

I already love this more than the original! It's pricier, but it's a new all-natural version, without ANY mineral oil. This melts right into my skin and gives me the same deep brown color (I actually think this one makes me a little darker). Because it has no mineral oil, I find it absorbs much better and doesn't have such a lasting greasy feeling like the other version. I have dry skin and like to use regular coconut oil as a moisturizer sometimes, so I was excited to see a coconut oil Maui Babe lotion. It's not entirely non-greasy, since it still has oils, they just absorb better and don't feel like they're sitting on top of your skin. Per the bottle, the ingredients are aloe vera, antioxidants E, C, and A, coconut oil, kona coffee, kukui nut oil, macadamia nut oil, potassium iodide, and sunflower oil. Love.
