So So Happy.I already own 2 other Maui Jim sunglasses, but I needed a pair for reading. Purchased the Tortoise with Peacock Blue from my Optometrist, they ordered them with my reading prescription. No line readers. Now I can drive with sunglasses and read when needed.

I ordered the Cloud Break Tortious with Peacock Blue and Maui Rose lenses. These are the best sunglasses I have ever had. I love them. They fit nicely and the lenses feel good to my eyes. I use these glasses while hiking, biking and going to the beach. They feel much better quality than other glasses, probably because they are made in Italy.

The best sunglasses are from Maui Jim! I’ve worn the following pairs such as Ray-Ban, Bolle, Burberry, and Prada. MJs are pricey but overall value is worth it; the sunglasses are scratch-free, light, and will never fall off your face (I have a small face and it’s hard to find a good fit). This is due to its built-in nose pad. The polarization makes everything look brilliant and crisp without the blinding glare especially on sunny and bright days while driving, hiking, and just being outdoors. I also find that I can continue wearing it as soon as I’m indoors, especially helpful while strolling or window-shopping. This is my first pair and certainly won’t be my last! Thank you, Maui Jim.

My first pair were titanium, and I've owned Kala and others, and still have 2 pairs, one so old it doesn't have the name on it, and Atoll's. But when I lost my Stingrays last fall, I decided to try Cloud Break. I wanted to try a current fashionable style, and these fit the bill just great. I got the Cloud Break in the Tortoise/Peacock with the HCL lens. These are a very nice blend of style, but not over the top trendy. I have had Maui Rose in the past, but once I tried HCL (a few styles ago), I'm sold. But now that summer is upon us I've found I miss the wrap of my Stingrays. I love all Maui Jim sunglasses. I purchased Cloud Break and thought they were the right size for me but I just wanted something a little larger. I love the style of cloud break. So I purchased a different pair a little larger and it worked out perfectly.They are very helpful courteous accommodating and professional with their customer service.

I received my customized Cloud Break glasses today. I ordered the peacock tortoise with the grey lenses since I prefer the more true colors with the grey lenses. Even though these are non-prescription lenses, I ordered them through my eye doctor's office and received them 7 days later. They fit very well, do not slip around but are not too tight. I love the clarity of the lenses and am amazed at how much better my eyes feel than with the less expensive polarized, uv blocking lenses I had before. Things appear brighter but I find I'm not squinting like I did with my other, (not Maui Jim) darker grey lenses. It was a very bright sunny day here today, so I am confident in my assessment of the lenses. I love these sunglasses, and wore them for many years. After losing the first pair, I even bought a replacement pair.However, the older I get the more sensitive my skin is becoming. I now cannot wear them bc the rubber nose grips don’t agree with my skin. I’m pursuing the Maui Jim website, but the product photos don’t show the nose area (presence of rubber). Can you help me find a new pair?
I have looked all summer for a pair of quality polarized bifocal sunglasses. They are extremely difficult to find. I was Wanted a trendy tortoise shell look. A sales clerk at a Sandollar store suggested Maui Jim. I got online and found exactly what I was looking for! They are perfect!!! I have a small face and they feel and look like they were custom made for me. The clarity is wonderful. They cut the glare and everything you see is bright and clear. The bifocals are wonderful. I needed a pair of bifocal sunglasses that I could wear daily and my Maui Jims fit the bill!!!! I can’t say enough good things about them!
Cloud Break is a great, basic sunglass for everyday use and sunlight. They are polarized. This is great because I only buy polarized. For comfort, I particularly like the spring hinge.My vision is crystal clear through these lenses. I sign of a good sunglass is that as you drive, you tend to forget that you even have the sunglasses on.I hope Maui Jim continues to make sunglass frames that have less plastic; i.e., Cloud Break or Ocean, because less plastic on the frame allows for better peripheral driving. I would like this peripheral feature even on their lenses that are designed for maximum Hawaiian-beach sun.The fit on these may be for a small to medium-sized head.
