Once again I'm blown away by the overall design, fit, and clarity of vision of my new MJ Hema model, which I bought in Crystal Matte with the Blue Hawaii lens. I already own a pair of The Bird, which I love, but given I'm a hot-blooded Finlander, they were running a little hot some humid days. I am so happy to finally have a pair of sunglasses that work for me on a paddle court, thank you! Play is often directed facing the winter sun at such a difficult angle that the ball and sun 'become one' at times. My Hema's give me the best chance of seeing the ball, and because of their low profile design, allow me to wear a trucker hat to assist in minimising the sun's glare. I've also noticed on those cold days in the teens or single digit temps that 'breath fog' is no longer troubling. For the other side of the court, peeper keepers keep my Hema's at hand and safely off the ground.

The pink mirror Maui Rose ones are so fun and do a great job of keeping all views so beautiful and clear. I see a lot of comments about these glasses being so lightweight that they tip on the face. Well, that’s the idea. They’re easily adjustable to give you a custom fit. Basically, I just place them on my face to find that sweet spot and they just grip and stay in place. Even offered up a new pair if need be. Great glasses and great customer service. Also, I’d suggest getting the care kit…nice quality cloth and spray in a high quality travel case for ten dollars. Worth every penny!

Great sunglasses. Bought to replace a pair that was lost. The only bad part of the transaction was TB gave out a Flipside card worth $50 off a purchase of $100 or more. Great deal until you realize the gift was for Christmas, and the card expires less than a month afterwards. I guess the rationale was a lot of people wont see the card and use it in that small amount of time? Well done if so. Mines having to go in the trash since it expired two days ago. Heck, even this questionnaire was sent only ten days before the card expiring.
Minimal design, gets the job done with style. The blue is rejected and the red comes through, just the right amount. There isn't anything to complain about with these sunglasses. I had a pair just like this for almost 15 years; left them laying on my table in a coffee shop. Went back immediately and they were gone. I have missed them so much and happy to have this new pair. I live in Portland Oregon where it rains a lot and is often overcast. I call these my Portland sunglasses.
Hema is a great pair of sunglasses. Quite a mix of reviews of this style...some are very critical. I, personally, am a big fan of Hema. They are very flexible, which enhances the comfort level. The coverage is perfect, and great for medium to large faces. All though some reviewers have expressed concern about the durability of this very light weight style, I am not concerned. I treat all my sunglasses with great care, because whatever brand or style, or what they might be made of, ALL sunglasses are delicate. You know what they say.....the bigger they are, the harder they fall. And let's not forget....they are sunglasses, not a tank. However, while here, I couldn't resist shopping and buying another pair.These are that pair. I like them. They are good. Quality is excellent. But I know that they will not replace my first go-to pair simply because from the other pair (which is going to be repaired) I like the feeling of the titanium wire frame and the more sleek profile of the lenses. That's just a preference. These are more boxy. A friend saw me with a photo and said I looked like a State Trooper. Okay. But, I like them.The price point is a tad on the expensive side (upper 100's). I feel like these should be around $120
I returned the Ola to exchange for the Hema and am very pleased. The Ola was supposed to be for "large face or head" but it squeezed my face so hard it would leave indentions. The Hema, at half the price, are twice as comfortable and truly do fit larger / wider faces and heads. I wish they had these in a gold frame, but I still like HCL Bronze lenses on these. The. lenses aren't quite as big as the Ola or others I've had, but for a "Frameless" design, if you want something lightweight and comfortable, I think these are great.
Loved my first pair that I purchased five years ago so much that I had to have the matte black with green lenses. They’re so lightweight that I forget I have them on. I love that they’re rimless so you have a panoramic view. Great for driving and golf! I’ve tried other brands, and they don’t compare to Maui Jim!
