Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Shampoo 19.5 Fl Oz

If your hair feels oily after using, the moisture is too heavy and you overestimated your curls/waves. None of their products are bad, just not for your hair. The Oil mist is a little heavy, but a lot of my 3C-4A friends really enjoy it! They said it was great for their coils. If your hair feels brittle and dry even after using this, take a step up to the Shea line, if it’s greasy, take a step down and look for lower hydration levels. I have tried out several of Maui Moisture’s conditioners, and this coconut oil one is BY FAR my favorite! This conditioner has an AMAZING tropical/fruity/clean fragrance to it. It has a medium thick consistency to it, which I prefer over being too runny, or too thick making it difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. I leave this conditioner on while I am performing the rest of my shower routine. This way I can give the conditioner enough time to soak into my freshly shampooed hair. I have pretty dry hair so this coconut oil conditioner does it wonders. Once it has been on my hair for a sufficient amount of time high brush it out under the running water. I tried dozens of products and I'm talking expensive ones all the way down to cheap stuff. The only thing I had found and could settle on was a new product by Marc Anthony called Grow Long. When I did find that product finally after years of searching I was very outspoken and vocal about it. I told pretty much everyone that had hair about it, including that it is affordable and Walgreens always has a sale on it. I also need something to treat the scalp skin as I have psoriasis at the base of my skull and under my hair. It's mostly under control as I use RX product on it, don't want to mix the two. I normally go through conditioner at least twice as fast as I would go through shampoo with any product. with this conditioner I can add about two small dime size spots of conditioner to my hair and be mostly good, I am a bit more until my hair feels completely saturated because I spoil myself and even after rinsing an out you can feel how quickly the product work because your hair feels amazing. I've gotten so many compliments people asking me what I did with my hair and even to me and pictures. it will shinier and healthier. It feels better. it doesn't seem as dry. I can rush through it very easily. It smells good all the time and the shampoo and conditioner last at least twice as long as my regular products do so. like many other products from influenster, I think I may be a convert to the Maui line.

Coconut lovers

You gotta love the smell of coconuts for this product. I know, it’s in the name but boy is it coconut scented.Not bad or overwhelming in the grand scheme of things but it does make your bathroom smell of coconuts. Not artificial thoughSuper hydrating for my coarse thick hair.Makes it feel smooth and soft. Surprisingly the shampoo made my hair feel squeaky clean - I expected it to be hydrating and not give my hair the super ‘clean/clarifying’ feel. I like it!Would recommend if you are looking for something to try on unruly thick coarse hair.The consistency is super thick so it is harder to get out of the bottle, but a bit of shaking or storing upside down helps.

Hydration for curls

When I first got the shampoo I was excited to try it, it says on the bottle that it is for thick curly hair, I do have thick curly hair so I was excited to try this shampoo. My first impression was how cool the bottle looks, I love the colours, design and thought the shape of the bottle was cool and stands out. One thing I did notice though was that it was hard to squeeze the product out of the bottle, I am thinking this is because of the shape of the bottle being rectangle instead of round? Perfect for my curly hair

First and foremost, I absolutely adore the scent of this shampoo, it's my favourite out of all that I've tried. It makes me feel like I’m on a tropical island. Secondly, I like the thick consistency of it, because I feel like it thoroughly coats each strand of my thick hair and it also creates a great lather, without being drying. I have curly hair that is prone to dryness and frizziness and this shampoo doesn't dry my hair out. After washing, my hair feels hydrated and clean, and when combined with the conditioner, it leaves my hair soft and bouncy. I will definitely continue to use this range and would recommend to other curly girls who need well-hydrating ingredients.

Smells delicious

Maui Moisturiser curl quench, coconut oil shampoo smells like a tropical holiday. It’s is rich in lather and although quite thick and foamy it leaves hair squeaky clean once washed out. A little bit of product goes a very long way which is definitely a plus considering the size of the bottle is quite generous as well so I’m sure this will last a couple of months. All in all for curly haired girls I would recommend this shampoo it is very hydrating and also keeps the integrity of the curl pattern. If you have hair on the thicker side I would say to go for it as this shampoo is very dense and coats all the strands for a decent clean. With product buildup I’d say a double shampoo is still required.

The product is very thick and rich on curly hair, but also works to hydrate when using heat products. A very smart (!) addition is the different texture of the product labels between shampoo and conditioner - one is smooth and one is rough, great for quick grabs in the shower where the bottles almost match in every other way. My hair continued to smell great for a good week, and was hydrated but not oily. Love the texture and scent of this shampoo. It’s quiet hydrating but you still need the conditioner. My hair is faily dry, Maui shampoos are quiet pricey but WORTH THE PRICE! They help with hydration, growth, split ends etc you name it! Different ranges of Maui shampoo. I don’t like the scent of coconut as much but this shampoo giving me that tropical holiday vibe. Definitely perfect scent for summer! Can’t forget how MAUI used natural ingredients. Usually when I use other brand, I always have residue and itchy scalp.
