This is my third and final review out the the Maui for curls shampoo , conditioner and mask box. Which has been a summary of , leaving my hair wanting more, drying , not the best. The mask was a bit of a saviour in the entire washday routine in the fact that its one of the better masks i have tried for my hair and it didnt leave my hair completely dry feeling as a let it sit. But i wouldnt say i made my curls better with any after wash effects i still had to follow up with extra care to make my curls feel moisturized and locked in the mask almost need extra time and steam to force it into my hair otherwise it just sat on top absorbing far too slowly. I was thrilled to be able to try the Maui Moisture Revive Hydrate + Shea Butter hair mask. I have been using it once a week by letting it get absorbed into my hair for about five minutes before rinsing out. The formula is thin without being watery and thick without being too gloopy, which I appreciate. The scent of the coconut and macadamia comes through well and smells amazing. I love that this product line is made without any parabens, dyes or sulfates, and uses aloe as its first ingredient. It left my thin hair feeling and looking hydrated and shiny. I would recommend this for all hair types.

I got to try the Maui Moisture Hair Care line. The line is called Revive Hydrate + Shea Butter and is made for damaged hair. The hair mask is a deep conditioning treatment used after shampooing instead of the regular conditioner. Upon opening the jar you get a whiff of an amazing tropical aroma that stays and lingers long after rinsing off the product. The product is easy to apply and you can apply as little or as much as you like. I concentrate putting it on my ends which are my trouble spots. After use my hair is left feeling super soft. This product is made with 100% aloe and aloe is also the first ingredient listed (aloe barbadensis leaf juice). If you are looking for a hair mask I recommend this one.

The physical feel of the product is hydrating, and it glides through my hair seamlessly. After using the shea butter hair mask, my hair feels silky, hydrated, and bouncy. Does not work

I have been using maui moisture for about 5 months and my hair went from shiny and healthy (even though I used hot tools once per week) to dull, rough, dry, itchy scalp (and no use of hot tools in these 5 to 6 months!).Do not use, it will ruin your hair. It does not nourish nor hydrate nor moisturize. All the contrary. I saw a lot of hair falling out. And I never saw my wavy curly hair bounce back to life.I didnt even finished the bottle, im half way through. It is affordable, and smells so good, it does detangle your hair, but I had chunks of hair in my hand every time I would use these products.

HOLY GRAIL!!!

I'm obsessed with this hair mask. I was using living proof hair mask and I got this to try because I really like their shampoo and conditioner. I will never buy living proof again. My partner and I both have very long hair and we both love it. It smells good, easy to wash out & easy to use, makes our hair so silky smooth & shiny and the price is right. The consistency is thick, which I love! I also love that it doesn't make my hair feel like someone dumped a gallon of grease all over it like so many other masks I have tried. It also doesn't feel like it builds up on my hair. I'm so glad I randomly decided to give this product a try. Would give 100 stars if I could.

I keep coming back to Maui products

I am 74 years old with shoulder length wavy layered hair. I have found that the Maui hair products such as this leave in conditioner, along with their gel and mousse really do what they say. They do not leave residue, or dry my hair out or feel unatural. There seems to be a lot of products left out of them and beneficial ones put in which I always look for. Plus they smell tropical and make me enjoy using them on a daily basis. There are lots of hair products out there to choose from but I keep coming back to Maui. As a older woman they give my hair that personality that I am looking for...

When you stroke your hair while lathering on the hair mask, some hair does come out. Think of it as a comb; some hair comes out it its dead, or if you're pulling it too hard. Thats what your fingers are doing when putting in the hair mask, it's acting as a comb! The hair mask itself may not be pulling it out, its actually just the dead hair itself revealing itself I guess you can say.3. Sometimes also when you finger your way in your hair you can tangle it. (This happens with mine all the time, oh my gosh.)4. Hair masks are NOT supposed to be used EVERYDAY! I can say I see a lot of people doing this, its made for ONCE A WEEK! If your hair is falling out for the reasons above, switch it to once a week and you'll see a difference. If your hair desperately needs moisture (such as mine), I recommend two times a week, and I recommend doing it on a Monday and Friday to give your hair enough time to recover. < 3So I can conclude, if this hair mask really is pulling out your hair, immediately go to another product. < 3Nows heres my thought on this product:This product helps my hair as much as you can imagine. It makes your hair silky, and it keeps my hair nice and moisturized.
