To be honest, I’m quite disappointed after thinking I was buying the best to only realise that it’s not ideal for all babies. I have an average sized 5 month old and her head always seems to fall forward in the reclined rear facing position. We had the seat professionally installed by Baby Bunting so I can only assume it’s set up as recommended for a baby under 6 months. I took out the extra padding on the side of her body but have kept the head support as it’s recommended till 6 mths but I think that may be contributing to our problem. We live in a regional area so cannot see a Maxi Cosi rep easily but I’d appreciate any suggestions to stop this from happening as it causes anxiety while driving long distances

I got this seat as but was told about the cooling fabric and draws the moisture away from skin, not for a minute I believe that, my son not matter the temperature is dripping and sweating mess, even in light clothes.I like the features with seat for chin support and the safety.Just not my child screaming because his dripping in sweat

This car seat is well worth the price as the level of safety and comfort has surpassed my expectations and experience with other car seats. The extended rear facing age (30 months) is probably my favourite as research has shown that rear facing seats are far more safe than forward facing. I also love the headrest feature as their head doesn’t slump forward onto their shoulder or necks. The seat also has a feature where it changes the position of how forward the seat falls so that when they’re rear facing it is almost like a capsule in a way. It also comes with an infant insert so that you can use safely from birth without having to buy a capsule. 100% recommend!
This was the most difficult installation, the instructions come with pictures but zero words, the video of the installation has again video but no words. The adjustment of the straps is difficult with zero instruction on how to do so, the securing of the seat- almost unattainable. No matter how tight I pull, it’s still not secured. It says for ease of use but I highly disagree.Would not recommend.
This carseat is definitely worth the price! Starting from the cool magnetic harnesses, the G cell protection on the outisde and the air protection on the head's side made it a quick choice for parents like me who priortize the comfort and safety of their little ones. The additional chin rest support feature is amazing.It was such an easy buy for us as Maxi Cosi is a trusted brand and I will definitely recommend it to anyone whose looking out for a carseat for their newborn to 4 years old. Go for it!
I have my 4mth old who is 6.2kg and no matter what we do his head flops down. The car seat install has been checked by a fitter and is installed correctly but the seat is just so deep it causes him to crumple and pushes his head forward. This seat feels more unsafe due to its renowned risk of causing this based on further consumer reviews elsewhere. Utterly disappointed and concerned for my son as we just don't have the money for a different chair now. I don't understand how this can be safe really feel it should be recalled as the chair is just too deep and cannot be reclined further
I am onto my fourth child and have been through a few carseats in my time as a mother. The Vita Pro has been amazing so far. It is beautifully designed and the features are great. The magnetic harness holders are hands down my favorite but I also love how easy it is to change recline positions, the adjustable comfort headrest and even the extra padding to help reduce strap twists. Every little details has been thought of to make it comfortable for our baby and enjoyable to use as a parent.
Used for our 8 week old from birth, so still rearward facing. Installation is easy with ISOFIX. Seatbelt fitting it a little hard to get the seat through the right spot and not get it on the wrong side of the in-built harness anchor points (actually had the seat belt over the belts for the first 5 weeks which would have caused my little one to feel the weight of the whole seat in an accident!!!). The top tether is routed for front-facing, as the adjuster is effectively behind the belt in rearward mode. Workable, but a compromise.Aside from that, the seat is very very snug. Keeps nice and secure, but also a little struggle to get in and out. The in-built harness can get easily twisted and trying to get the shoulder strap on the shoulders can be a struggle with the ... MoreUsed for our 8 week old from birth, so still rearward facing.
