Awesome pump!

I have a slide on camper and need to add a lot off air to my LT tyres when I put the camper on. This pump is amazing. I can go from 35psi to 75psi in minutes. As others have said the pressure gauge doesn't work when the pump is running but its not that hard to walk to the pump and turn it off, the speed makes up for it. There is a Facebook group on how to mod this pump too as apparently the off road crowd in the USA has discovered just how awesome this pump is.

Awesome!

Ordered in level 4 lockdown two days ago and received this morning...in Rural!Pumped up the boat tyres, 4wd tyres, destroyed a couple of the kids rugby balls because I hot distracted, did their bike tyres to make up for it. So fast and grunt!Love it! Now just waiting for another reason to use it, maybe once lockdown is over in Auckland, I'll be able to hit up the neighbours.

Does the job well but a bit annoying that gauge goes straight to 70 when running so you have to switch it off to check pressure. Also need to allow for a drop when removing hose as is a screw fitting. Quick and sturdy feels like will last

Disappointed purchase
27 August 2021

I bought this product this afternoon after I came to know it thru my email.I requested the salesman to open the box for quality check before I made purchase. The guy at the counter (quite annoyed) and said the product is new just arrived from Perth. At home I opened the box (poorly sealed or already being opened) I found the product was packed upside down. I pulled out the rubber hose and it smell diesel & dirty. The bag is torn. I want to return this product tomorrow.

Fast, Powerful but Can Be Inconvenient
22 June 2023

Recently purchased on Sale, and have used it a handful of times.Mainly used to increase Tire Pressures when towing the caravan, after dropping pressures while out in the bush. Its a powerful compressor meaning it quickly raises the PSIs, so you need to keep this in mind (see below). Makes quick work of the 6-10 PSI increases I require (haven't had to re-inflate a tire or after sand pressures yet), meaning I haven't had any cooldown shut-offs and the neighbouring campers aren't too affected by the noise. The included hose is not ideal, as others have mentioned, with the in-line gauge defaulting to 70PSI when in operation, meaning you need to stop the compressor to check pressures, which would be fine, except the switch is located on the compressor, with the 2m ... MoreRecently purchased on Sale, and have used it a handful of times.Mainly used to increase Tire Pressures when towing the caravan, after dropping pressures while out in the bush. The included hose is not ideal, as others have mentioned, with the in-line gauge defaulting to 70PSI when in operation, meaning you need to stop the compressor to check pressures, which would be fine, except the switch is located on the compressor, with the 2m power supply placing the unit at the front of the rig, and you need to run back and forth. My solution to this, and what I would recommend, is allowing the compressor to inflate to higher than your desired pressure, remove the hose (which also loses a small amount of pressure due to the screw-on fitting, so you account for this) and check with your preferred standalone pressure gauge. I then release the air to deflate down to the desired pressures. Yes, a pain, but with how fast this unit inflates, its quicker and easier to just inflate (maybe check once in between by switching off the unit, as you learn how long it takes per PSI approx.) and bring it down to what's required. Obviously this is different if you are using this for lower PSI applications such as bike tires, where you risk overinflating, but I think that being a Dual-Motor Compressor, it is definitely designed for those larger PSI pressures, such as 4WDs.The Screw-On fitting is not ideal, as mentioned by others, you do lose some air when removing the fitting, which is why the overinflating/separate gauge process works, and I'd consider changing to a clip-on fitting, although with the strong inflating pressure, perhaps the screw fitting is a necessity to avoid the connection blowing off, considering there is no cut-off pressure system. The carry bag is extremely lightweight and has to be treated with care when lifting (when packed up), as the seams can rip (I have a small hole), which is disappointing, but I am sure relocating to a heavy duty bag or possibly a heavy duty plastic container wouldn't be too much trouble.Overall, a strong and fast compressor, that requires a bit of extra steps to achieve your desired pressures. However, purchasing on sale for less than the single-cylinder compressor makes it a bargain and so far it has done it's job well.

Good Compressor Usless OPeration.
30 May 2023

Good looking compressor solid well built, BUT totally useless as there is no air control to just put some air into the tyre, just pumps up to a high value and you need to go back to the compressor to stop it pumping. Needs a proper air hose and tyre gauge to work correctly.

Inflates tyres quickly and isn't too loud.
27 April 2022

Inflates tyres very quickly. Not too loud when running. Happy with purchase. As has been noted in other reviews the pressure gauge is not accurate when the compressor is running. Seems to push so much air it is restricted by the valve which lifts pressure in line.

You could easily over inflate things if you don’t watch it’s a very quick pump.My only concern is the plastic construction of the filter bodies and there positions.I feel it wouldn’t be to hard for them to be broken off. It would be smart to store it in your 4x4 or vehicle where the filters can’t be knocked about .also the filters have no oil on them so fine particles of dust or sand could be sucked through the filters. Apart from that I will recommend this to anyone wanting a good mobile light weight compressor for pumping things up

Quick air flow air compressor
20 September 2021

12v air compressor which is quite quick. 300L/min it claims, I previously had a 85L one and it took around 25min to do all 5 tyres. This one took around 9min all up after a beach run. I got it for $100 when they had the special, quite expensive without the sale. The cord is quite long and hot after use, so just be careful

Read before buying!

Product description is wrong.I assume the person replying to the questions about this product hasn’t actually tested it & instead is just reading the manual and making assumptions. There is _no_ switch or trigger at the end of the 7m hose, it’ll blow as soon as you turn the compressor on, doesn’t “pressurise the line” like the manual says.I took it back to Repco and they agreed they’re all the same, it’s not a fault on mine, it’s a poor description.Makes the fact that it has a 7m hose completely pointless as the compressor itself has to be right beside the Tyre you’re inflating in order to turn it on and off to check the pressure you’re up to.Frustrating, I’ll be emailing the company to look for a solution and for them to update the description, otherwise ... MoreProduct description is wrong.I assume the person replying to the questions about this product hasn’t actually tested it & instead is just reading the manual and making assumptions. There is _no_ switch or trigger at the end of the 7m hose, it’ll blow as soon as you turn the compressor on, doesn’t “pressurise the line” like the manual says.I took it back to Repco and they agreed they’re all the same, it’s not a fault on mine, it’s a poor description.Makes the fact that it has a 7m hose completely pointless as the compressor itself has to be right beside the Tyre you’re inflating in order to turn it on and off to check the pressure you’re up to.Frustrating, I’ll be emailing the company to look for a solution and for them to update the description, otherwise it seems like a decent bit of kit for the price - grunty and fast, parts and build seem solid.
