Maybelline 4-in-1 Instant Perfector Glow Medium

I was very excited to try this product as this claims to be a 4-in-1 product. It is said to be a primer, concealer, highlighter and BB cream. The clockwise twist with build on sponge makes it easily to apply to face. For the initial use, after a couple twisting, the product came out on the sponge and readily to be used. I can't express how much I love this product. This helps to save my time to do my makeup every morning. I got shade 00 Fair Light. When I first applied the product to my face, the product was so dark that I was afraid this would not blend well with my skin tone. I would say this is perfect for people who want to save time on doing your morning makeups, achieve beautiful natural glow and smooth minimal uneven skin tone. It works wonderfully similar to cushion. If you have a lot skin hyperpigmentation, this might not be the right product for you as the coverage is relatively sheer. One thing I hope Maybelline could improve is allow this product to have some SPF in it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and I hope you would enjoy it as much as I do.

Maybe I just applied too much, but this is more creamy, and I personally prefer matte make up. After wiping this off of my face, I noticed there was still some residue on my face and some sparkles, but it looked a lot better. I think that I will keep this product, but I would only use it as a bronzer for my face. If you can find your correct skin tone, I do think that this is a worthwhile product. Just remember to only use a little bit and build as needed.

However, this pleasantly surprised me! This is a sheer to light coverage product that I received in shade 00 Fair Light. The shade was a near perfect match to my skin tone. The formula is a water based consistency that I found applied best with a beauty blender. The formula is very sheer so you will see your skin peeking through, but I did find that I was able to build the coverage up after applying a second layer. And while I do enjoy this product a lot, I would never use it as a primer or concealer. With that being said, I love how my skin looks while wearing this and would purchase in the future.

As a Primer or BB Cream Pros: It went on smooth, super light weight, blendable and a little bit of a blurring effect. Cons: It has shimmer in it. Instead of a natural glow it gave me Edward Cullen vibes for this reason I would not wear it as a BB cream or primer. If you have dry patches it will cling to it making that area look really textured. As a Concealer: It did brighten my under eye however still wasn’t a fan of the shimmery sparkles it left behind. As a Highlighter: I enjoyed using it as a highlighter the most. It’s subtle the sparkles don’t bother me too much being on my cheek bones. The puff feels so soft and dispenses the perfect amount of product each time, however It might be prone to growing bacteria. This foundation came close to the iconic Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter foundation. The main differences is that the Maybelline foundation had larger chunks of shimmer and had a shorter longevity. I have oily skin and noticed that the foundation separated after a few hours which is quite normal. However, because of the formula, I recommend it to anyone with normal to dry skin. I was also impressed by the coverage and how it concealed all my redness yet I could still see my skin which made it look a lot more natural. It’s also great on camera when I work from home. I also love the packaging! It makes it easy to apply and I really like how you can remove the sponge and wash it so it’s a huge plus. This also didn’t break me out so I’m really happy. A letdown. Wouldn't repurchase.

Pros:- Leaves a glowy finish.- Clear packaging around the product shows how much product is left in the bottle.Cons:- Burning sensation began as soon as I applied this product to my face. I had nothing on my face except for my daily moisturizer. The burning stopped after about 15 minutes, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin.- Accentuated my pores and texture. Honestly, applying this made my skin look worse than before I applied the glow makeup perfector. This didn't replicate the Flawless Filter as I had hoped.- Sponge applicator. Most importantly, the sponge is very unsanitary. The sponge applicator also makes it very difficult to tell how much product is being dispensed. Do not recommend

I really did not like this product. It sounds like a great idea, but the actual product does not match up. First, the lightest shade is not light enough if you are very pale like me. Next, this has barley any coverage so it is almost like JUST a primer. But if you want low coverage, this would work for you. It's very glowy, I know some said it had shimmer but I didn't notice glitter, just a glow/dew on my skin. It blends pretty easily since it's low coverage. It does feel more on the oily side as well. I only wore it once before returning so I'm not sure if would break me out if I continued to use something that oily. I just don't think this is great. As someone who never left the house without a full face of makeup, the last couple of years have changed that (between taking better care of my skin and not leaving the house often lol) and typically now just use a light serum foundation and more often than not just a tinted moisturizer. I grabbed this just to try something new and wasn't expecting much, not because of the brand but due to such a small shade range I assumed the chances of a good match would be slim. I got the medium and when I first went to apply it the product was so dark I was concerned it wouldn't blend into my natural tone. I recommend using the built in sponge to apply to zones on the face and neck and then using a damp beauty blender to blend it out. This stuff is legit magic. As it set and dried down it blended SEAMLESSLY into my skin. All I did was add a smidgen of concealer under my eyes and the smallest amount to a tiny pimple on my nose and it blended together perfectly. I then tossed just a dusting of powder to set it all and legit my skin looks so good and natural while being smoothed out. This went way beyond my expectations and hours later it still looks great. I will absolutely buy this again.

I've tried It Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Nars, the list goes on and on...I'm shocked and pleased to say that my favorite face make-up to date is this product. It does have a slight shimmer to it, but I find that works for my skin tone (I'm a medium complexion and I bought medium in this product). It's lightweight, easy to apply, and spreads across the face easily with minimal product needed in my opinion. I do use a blending sponge to finish the job though. I don't think the included applicator will evenly apply it to your face.
