I generally love @maybelline lip products, and this one gift given to le by my oldest is certainly a winner in my book! Super excited to see that they came out with a shiny lipstick-- I loveall of the matte lip products, but have been hoping that the tide would turn back to products that make your lips look soft and moist, not dry always 😉 anyhow, I do still like it. It is a bit of a slippery formula, not a creamy one like their original Color Sensational. At one time, they had some high shine shades of Color Sensational, but I think these are softer and shinier than those. I’ve found that it turns into a warm red when mixed with the “Very Cherry” lip liner, so I personally prefer to only line the outer edges of the lips to avoid feathering of the lipstick. Each of these products retail for 8$ on Maybellines website, though you can find them for as low as 6$ at places like Walmart or Walgreens. It’s not transfer proof by any means, but, the color will stay strong for hours while leaving behind a very flattering stain! I personally found that this lipstick works better not being blotted; the oils soak into your lips naturally during the first hour after the initial application, and this allows the color to really penetrate the skin and leave behind a decent amount of pigment. The lip liner works great and is super duper creamy, so you could easily wear it on its own, if you’d like. It comes as a retractable pencil, so, no sharpening needed. The outer packaging of the lipstick tube is a beautiful, reflective rose gold color, and the rounded shape of the bullet makes staying inside the lines a piece of freaking cake. I have a feeling these two lip products will become staples in my collection, and I’m looking forward to using them more. Overall, I am beyond pleased! 💖

This is one of my favorite drugstore lipsticks. Been wearing them for years. Spice-for-me is my favorite fall shade, but I do wear it all year since you can easily tone the shade by patting your lips with your fingers for a softer color. This is a warm brick reddish color its perfect for fall!! These lipsticks glide on effortlessly. Buttery-smooth texture that feels light on the lips. Doesn’t bleed nor run. Will last several hours or longer if you’re not eating, drinking, etc; Highly recommended

Excellent Product

I love this lipstick, it always makes my lips pop and gains a lovely shape with a lovely shade of pink. The lipstick always lasts for the amount of time needed (usually a day) without the need for more than three top-ups or a lipliner. With a few layers it boldens my lips. The product size is perfect to fit in a make-up bag, a night out clutch, purse or bag and is able to put in a travel bag and take while travelling abroad etc. It is also long lasting as one lipstick can make me last between 6months - 2 years. It is the perfect lipstick to me. I absolutely love the colour it gives to my lips. I really recommend this product to anyone wanting to purchase.

Flattering, creamy and hydrating

What kind of witch craft is this?? Literally I have always had issues finding foundation/lipstick shades for years. Always too bright or garish, but not these! I have a light medium olive complexion that leans slightly warm. Most colors unless muted or soft just look clown like. Maybelline really does have it all. Mauve for me, spice for me, and pink for me are all my new holy grail shades. I will be returning for touch of spice (different formula) as well. The struggle is real but these are amazing! My mom and sister have completely different undertones but even these look great on all of us.

My Favorite Lipstick!!

My color is Nude Lust (920). I just purchased two more tubes today and have high hopes that Maybelline will not discontinue this shade. This particular formula has always been a winner for me. I'm over 50 and have been wearing this shade since I was in my 30's. It is not drying, but it also is not so creamy that it runs all over the place...and if your over 40 you will appreciate that. I own a lot of lipsticks, but have never repurchased any of them. Long Live Nude Lust!!

Not For Me

Nice enough color, went on fine, but ughhhh so "heavy" when wearing - to the point it felt that my lips could not breathe. Even after wiping off the lipstick the residue was still palpable. I also didn't care for the fragrance, it was much too floral for me. If a lipstick has to have a fragrance I prefer a clean scent. I can't speak to how well it wears because I could not make it 5 minutes with it on. It may work for others, but this lipstick is not for me.

Perfect lipstick

Great scent to this lipstick. I use it on special occaisons, it's obvious of great quality. The size is very compact and easy to keep in the purse. I feel like this would lok great on a woman age 30-40. The package was ok but nothing to write home about. I've already noticed a benefit to the looks I get at parties while wearing this lipstick. I feel like it really improves the composition of my face. This has a great amount of coverage hiding my birthmarks. The color is mauve and really brings out my brown eyes. The texture is slick and slimey. My only concern about it is that I will use it up so fast as it is fantastic.

The best nude red ever

If nude red is even a thing, then Rum Riche is the red made right, or the daytime red lipstick. It's a perfect mix of brick red warmth with a hint of plummy coolness, making this shade a perfect not so nude lip. If paired with a brick brown lip pencil this shade becomes a longer lasting evening lip wear for me. I've repurchased this lipstick numerous times. I hope they add this color to their lip vinyl line. Excellent product.

Truffle Tease is my signature lipstick

Love the formula for The Creams, long-lasting for a creamy formula, very comfortable, and easy to layer/touch up. Maybelline is my favorite drugstore lipstick (favorite lipstick in general), and Truffle Tease is has been my go-to for years. I have had a really hard time finding it in stores lately. Please tell me it's not being discontinued?! I already went through this with Totally Toffee, and I know of several other favorites of others that have also been discontinued. It's incredibly frustrating to have a brand constantly discontinuing products with no warning. Hoping to receive an answer since I can't find any information on this
