Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Loaded Bolds Chocoholic

I have been wanting this shade for like a year now. I’ve read tons of reviews raving about it. Many have said it’s a dupe for Mac’s Heroine. Ummmmmmm NO. This is patchy and it transfers like crazy. This does not last long one bit. Because it’s so slippy, you have to be careful when applying it because you’ll have areas that are pink and transparent. This is pigmented once you layer it on, but it’s definitely not a one-swipe-and-go-lipstick. You’ll also have to bring this with you wherever you go. I’ve had to reapply this twice in the last hour, and I could have reapplied more often, but I just let it turn into a purple ring around my mouth haha. Hot ayy? Don’t get this. But, there are way too many beautiful purples out there to waste on this one. I feel like I’ll run out of this in two days based off how many times I’ve reapplied it :-/ such a bummer. I hate taking pictures because the colors are always a little off. In person, you can see some pink where I open my mouth from disappearing.

Go-To color; buy several!

I love it when CVS has deals on makeup and I get a discount when buying a multiple lipsticks. I love the sedate Touch of Spice lipstick (#660), which gives a little color when patted on, or glamor when applied more liberally. I have several of these Touch of Spice lipsticks so I can have one in various purses, makeup bags, my train case, and one at work (just in case). Mauve For Me (#373) is in the same color range, but a bit pinker and my new favorite!

Like it! I ordered it online and the color seemed darker. However, it’s softer than it looks. Very creamy and smooth. It goes well with my complexion ( Lighter tone African American ) But it would go well with almost any complexion because it can be applied in one layer or multiple to achieve a look. It’s not clumpy.I recommend it for everyday and going out!

Gorgeous, Rich Great Every-Day Lip Color!

I had actually purchased this shade of Plum by accident, as for years I've worn another Maybelline shade but could not find it while shopping. I must admit that I am so pleased with this new color! It complements my skin and eye tone very well and has already drawn compliments. I have a smallish mouth, so bold, distinctive shades are my friends, lol, and this Plum shade is on its way to BFF status! Love its richness, color and creaminess!

Great Matte Lipsticks!

I wear only matte lipstick in both liquid lipsticks, and bullet formulas. I've enjoyed Maybelline's creamy, matte formula for years now, and I will continue to repurchase! I have a fair, cool-toned complexion, and I appreciate many comfortable colours that compliment my skin tone! Favourite 'neutral' shades continue to be 'Touch Of Spice', 'Blushing Pout', 'Lust For Blush', and 'Ravishing Rose'. I also adore 'Mesmerizing Magenta', 'Divine Wine', and 'Violet Vixen'! Although there are many pretty shades, I hope that Maybelline will add both a deeper fuchsia, and a true, blue-based red to their colourful collection! These are quality, affordable matte lipsticks that I continue to highly recommend!

Great Timing

This lipstick is exquisite and I absolutely love ❤️ it! I get compliments every time I wear it. People often ask what's the name of the lipstick and wonder if it's one of the higher name brand. That let's you know this is of high quality. My order came earlier than it said it would arrive. I greatly appreciated that. It's an awesome buy!

My Favorite Lipstick!!

My color is Nude Lust (920). I just purchased two more tubes today and have high hopes that Maybelline will not discontinue this shade. This particular formula has always been a winner for me. I'm over 50 and have been wearing this shade since I was in my 30's. It is not drying, but it also is not so creamy that it runs all over the place...and if your over 40 you will appreciate that. I own a lot of lipsticks, but have never repurchased any of them. Long Live Nude Lust!!

Stop discontinuing popular colors

So tired of constantly having to replace my favorites. I see other responses from Maybelline saying Nude Nuance is their recommendation to replace the discontinued Touch of Spice. Not anywhere near the same color. This is the kind of stuff that drives me to higher end makeup, even though it may be more expensive, at least I can test it out before purchasing to find the right color, or return it! With drugstore brands like Maybelline you have to keep buying lipsticks until you find the right one. Touch of Spice was the perfect medium pink that wasn't too cool or too warm or too brown or too grey or too bright or too light or too dark. The best nude red ever

If nude red is even a thing, then Rum Riche is the red made right, or the daytime red lipstick. It's a perfect mix of brick red warmth with a hint of plummy coolness, making this shade a perfect not so nude lip. If paired with a brick brown lip pencil this shade becomes a longer lasting evening lip wear for me. I've repurchased this lipstick numerous times. I hope they add this color to their lip vinyl line. Excellent product.

Truffle Tease is my signature lipstick

Love the formula for The Creams, long-lasting for a creamy formula, very comfortable, and easy to layer/touch up. Maybelline is my favorite drugstore lipstick (favorite lipstick in general), and Truffle Tease is has been my go-to for years.I have had a really hard time finding it in stores lately. Please tell me it's not being discontinued?! I already went through this with Totally Toffee, and I know of several other favorites of others that have also been discontinued.
