Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Lipstick 657 Nude Nuance

**THIS IS NOT THE COLOR I OWN** My color was not an option—I have #100, which is clear. I’m just really getting into lipsticks, stains, etc and wanted to try a liner I could use with any color. Clear?! PERFECT! I can use this liner with literally any shade and it helps me shape my lips before applying actual color to them. I bought this when it was on sale for buy one, get one half off so I think I paid around $5.00-$5.50 for it? I would’ve bought it for it’s full price, I just happened to be getting another maybelline product at the time. 🙂 I think it’s a great product, especially if you’re new to lip pencils, lipstick, etc. It also has a removable sharpener on the opposite end of the stick so you can sharpen the liner up when you need to. This is THE best foundation that there ever was and ever will be! I have been using this product for over a decade. I've tried many other products out and nothing compares. The texture is so buttery smooth, it feels airy and amazing on my skin! The coverage that this foundation provides is absolutely amazing! I have scars on one side of my face from a bad car wreck I was in as a child, and this foundation covers them 100%. It makes a great foundation for my bronzer and blush also; everything is perfectly where it should be on top of this and stays put. It lasts all day and doesn't clog my pores. My face feels so soft with it on too; not cakey at all. 10/10 recommend!!

I grabbed a jar of this just to see if maybe since I learned how to do makeup since middle school / highschool it will be better but I noticed some things. So first, it’s still thick as ever. The shades aren’t very versatile. It oxidizes for sure! You have to really blend this out. I tried a blender, a foundation brush etc and after all that work it was decent. If you have any dry spots or oily spots beware! You definitely have to use primer and moisturizer before. I wouldn’t purchase it again I was just curious and had nostalgia from being young in school and like every girl I knew used this back then lol it was fun to mess around with that’s for sure. The blush thing! That’s a great keeper I’ll say that. I love cream based blushes

I like the consistency of the product. It feels smooth and velvety during application. After initial application it looked nice, and I proceeded to finish applying my face of makeup. However, 20 minutes later I looked in the mirror to see dry patches. I do typically have drier skin in the winter, but most other foundations I use reveal their drying factors after application - so I then wash it off and try out different products for the day. I don’t like that I now have a full face of makeup done, to find the “base” aka the majority of my face, super dried out and cracked looking. I’ll try this product again when the weather isn’t so harsh on my skin in general.

I just love this lipstick from MAYBELLINE. First it's smooth and creamy and moisturizing for lips. Very pigmented and very easy to take it off. Second, it stays on for a good time provided if you are applying some foundation or powder underneath to stay it put. I usually wear it for daily basis 2-4 hours so I am good with the tint. Price is great and so many color choices to choose from. I tried fuschia pink very first time and it is my favorite for bright kind of a look but not too over powering in color. It has bright pink color and looks amazing. Go for it, you will definitely love it!.

I could not find a good shade for my skin . The lighter option was to light the shade I used to wear when I was younger and used this doesn’t match my tone anymore and if I go a shade up it’s entirely to dark. I bought the closest shade and tried it again , I had friends racing over this mousse! I was excited to try, I like the mousse texture it’s different . It does not stick to my beauty blender at all !! How am I supposed to apply this without constantly dipping my fingertips in the jar ? The mousse went on smooth and almost silk like , but it did not blend with my beauty blender and looked so messy and Caleb.

My struggle with makeup started at a department store makeup counter. The attending "expert," exhausted herself trying to mix shades to find my tone. FAIL. I finally found the perfect shade for me. I have always struggled to find a shade that doesn't make me look chalky, orange, pasty, or just too dark. This is perfect. I can even hug folks and not leave my "mark" on their shoulders. *I always buy two because I'm afraid that it will be discontinued. Thank you for this ... can't tell that I am even wearing make-up. 54 looks pretty darned good. MsMalysssa68 loves it here.

I know all of us were violated by this foundation at one point but i think the way of applying it is a big game changer! Here are some tips that I used: Use small amount of product, put it on your hand and warm it up a little, place it on moisturized face and blend with your hands! After you finish blending with your hands use a beauty blender and tap it into the place. Put a little lighter concealer because there are big chances that product will oxidize (buy a lighter shade than usually if you want to skip this) and blend blend, finish your routine, set it lightly on your t zone and under eyes! It should look good:) Shade range is bad so its not for everyone though

Excellent Product

I love this lipstick, it always makes my lips pop and gains a lovely shape with a lovely shade of pink. The lipstick always lasts for the amount of time needed (usually a day) without the need for more than three top-ups or a lipliner. With a few layers it boldens my lips. The product size is perfect to fit in a make-up bag, a night out clutch, purse or bag and is able to put in a travel bag and take while travelling abroad etc. It is also long lasting as one lipstick can make me last between 6months - 2 years. It is the perfect lipstick to me. I absolutely love the colour it gives to my lips. I really recommend this product to anyone wanting to purchase.

Stop discontinuing popular colors

So tired of constantly having to replace my favorites. I see other responses from Maybelline saying Nude Nuance is their recommendation to replace the discontinued Touch of Spice. Not anywhere near the same color. This is the kind of stuff that drives me to higher end makeup, even though it may be more expensive, at least I can test it out before purchasing to find the right color, or return it! With drugstore brands like Maybelline you have to keep buying lipsticks until you find the right one. Touch of Spice was the perfect medium pink that wasn't too cool or too warm or too brown or too grey or too bright or too light or too dark. As someone with a paler olive skintone, it was exactly the perfect kind of everyday color for me and that is surprisingly hard to ... MoreSo tired of constantly having to replace my favorites.
