The Hydra powder was so much harder to get even coverage since I use a gripping primer, but the Maybelline version glides on SUPER easily, making areas like my nose and forehead (both oily and acne prone) seamless and coveted before I even go in with my foundation. Amazing product. Well thought out packaging. And a steal for the price point and amount you get. I honestly am so annoyed I never thought to try this sooner, and will absolutely be purchasing on my own as soon as I run out.

Color: Light Medium. I purchased this online at Ulta for $9.99. So many people say this is a dupe for so many other high end powders that I was willing to give this a try. I have been on the hunt for a setting powder since my Too Faced Peach Perfect was discontinued. I like the packaging, but it can be bulky for travel. I turn it upside down to get the product to go into the lid and then I use a fluffy blush brush to apply the powder. The holes are big and a lot of product comes out into the lid and it is a bit dusty and can go everywhere, just be gentle with application. The color leans more on the orange side. It does give a bit of coverage which I like, but this does apply orange and then turns a darker brown but still with a hue or orange. I have yellow ... MoreColor: Light Medium. I am mature skin with enlarge pores on my cheeks with fine lines and wrinkles. I do not recommend to bake with this powder because it settles into those lines and winkles. Light application because this can look cakey on the face. It did minimize my pores a small amount. I have sensitive skin and it did not irritate my skin until the end of the day when my natural oils started to combine with the product. But it did go the distance for over 10 hours so that is nice, but at the end of the day, my pores were enlarged and did not look great. I think if you are a younger person with no fine lines/wrinkles, this would be a great budget powder. For me, this went back to Ulta.

First let’s talk about how this powder FEELS! It’s silk. That’s the only possible explanation. It’s silk ground up into a beautiful powder. It gives the right amount of coverage without caking or getting caught in any fine lines or creases. I’ve had this package FOREVER, and the only reason I’ll be replacing it is because my skin color has changed (hyperpigmentation is a bummer). It lasts and lasts and keeps on giving! I know there are way more expensive options out there, and I’m sure they’re beautiful in their own way, but for the price and the longevity - Maybelline’s loose powder CAN. NOT. BE. BEAT!! Ok - off to find my new perfect shade!! 👩🏻👩🏽❤️

I really like this powder! It gives me a super smooth airbrush finish. This photo of myself is not edited or filtered at all. The only thing I find is the shade range is limited and leans on the yellow side. I can personally only use this when I self tan. It is a full coverage, especially when used on top of foundation. As long as you are aware of that, keep that in mind when using, then you will be fine! I apply a sheer foundation then use a small amount of this to add a little coverage and an airbrush finish. Set with a generous amount of setting spray and gently pat in with a damp beauty sponge to further the airbrush effect/slightly sheer out or fan dry to maintain a fuller coverage with a more skin like finish.

I got this product after seeing a YouTuber recommended it for dry/dehydrated skin. The powder was very smooth and fine until a lot of setting powders. Though it is a finishing powder, what surprises me was how long it lasted. I’m not usually a big fan of finishing powders mainly because either the coverage is patchy or my oily, dehydrated skin starts breaking up the makeup and looking oily by noon. However, this powder actually has lasted all day consistently giving me mochi skin! The coverage also is great. Not too cakey or chalky, but just right. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for an affordable powder that won’t dry out your skin and last all day with the little extra oomph of coverage

Okay so this isn't the first time I've used this powder. The first one I bought in-person but it's so good I've gone for second-sies on iherb. This powder has an incredible coverage despite being so finely milled. This and the Innifree mineral powder are my holy grails! It has no scent to it, which is great because it's not irritating to skin. The quality control is quite good, I'd say, as I don't find this purchase any different from the one I bought in store. The texture once it goes on your skin is very smooth, basically melts to the skin. It's a decent size for a powder, the packaging comes in a square-shaped box and I think that's quite a fun shape.

HORRIBLE NEW PACKAGING!
26 November 2023

I have been using Maybelline loose powder FOREVER...and would actually give this product 5 stars if it weren't for the new packaging. Since this change to the Fit Me branding, it's terrible I love the powder itself, but the container is AWFUL! The mouth of the container does not allow enough room for a big brush and/or the tapping of the brush to shake off excess powder. So much is spilled and wasted. Once close to the end of the powder, you can no longer remove the strainer portion to allow access to what's left. The square design was a big mistake. Sure, it's pretty, but it's not practical or functional at all! After being a loyal consumer for over 40 years, I am shopping around for other brands now just because of the new packaging.

This is the best loose powder i have ever used! This product taught me that high end brands didn't necessarily mean it was the best because thisssss existed and was muuuuuuch better than any high end setting powder i have eevr used but jn general it literally is the best i have ever used. Even how it sunk into my skin it was giving me Korean glass skin type of look!!! I was constantly getting compliments on my skin looking flawless and it was always because of this product. The best part is it neeeeever broke me out like how some high end ones did and it's so sad if its true that this has been discontinued because now I have to find something else that can match this level 😭😭😭 I don't understand why such a successful produxt would lead to being discontinued??? ... MoreThis is the best loose powder i have ever used!
