I tend to have a lot of dark circles due to late night studying, and it is so easy to just throw on and go out the door. It doesn’t require a lot of powder to set either, but instead is long wearing. I would say it is best for under eyes compared to spot treatment, it is not full coverage for large red spots. The only thing I would watch out for is that the longer you use it, it can become a little messy with the wind up mechanism. Not bad for a concealer under the eye…. Tho’ I always mix with a moisturizer because I am just not a fan of concealer no matter what the brand. I will have to just suck it up and realize I NEED to use one… lol… Anywho, my oldest told me about this product and I bought it…. Very inexpensive and easy to find online and in stores…. I apply 2 different was……One with 4 dots with cool sponge tip under eye but over moisturizer and then with my right ring finger and gentle tap from inner part of under eye to outer….I press a little to make sure it’s even. Two… mix with moisturizer first on back of hand then apply same way with finger. I have light skin, so I suggest playing around with the shades to get the one that works for your skin tone. I'll use drugstore lipsticks, liners, and mascaras, but if it's meant to perfect my skin, I always go for the pricey stuff. Yes, I know, it sounds obnoxious, but some people like to invest in good quality cashmere sweaters; I like to invest in good quality complexion enhancers. It's smooth, relatively lightweight, and even with my dark under-eyes (that range in varying shades of darkness depending on different factors, lol) it still covers them quite well for me, and I've never had a problem with it wearing off, creasing on me (just to be sure, I usually do go over my concealer with a small bit of powder to help set better however, just in case; though even without, the lasting wearability has stood up pretty well to the test for me!! Maybelline definitely hit a home-run with this product, which is rightfully loved by so many, both by drugstore-makeup enthusiasts to mostly- high-end makeupbeauty lovers. Not to mention, for the price, it's hard to beat it! The sponge applicator might not be the most preferred for some people, but for me, I actually really appreciate the fact that its twist-up so that you have more control over the amount of product; as well as the sponge applicator being soft and, well-- spongey (lol)-- and perfectly works for dabbing and swiping and reaching the area of the under eyes especially, in my opinion!
