Apply a hydrating moisturizer and or serum before applying any makeup at all. And then applying a hydrating primer before foundation application. And using a mist in between liquid and powder steps. This will make a very big difference in use and wear for dryer skin types.

When they say it’s full coverage they truly mean it and it’s probably the fullest coverage foundation on the market and the price of these foundations are absolutely incredible. I was looking for a new foundation since my favorite one was out of stock. I went to Walmart, hoping to find something that would work. I came across this product that I’m reviewing now. I put it on and it was beautiful. But, after you wear it for a few hours, it turns into a different color. It made my skin look orange. I wore it on my BIRTHDAY. And, my boyfriend even told me that my face was a different color than usual. It also dries out the skin very easily and does not work well with other products on top of it or even underneath it. I use the Clinique moisture surge moisturizer underneath it, as well as the Elf power grip primer. But, it still ended up showing my pores terribly. I even tried different moisturizing products and primers, but none of them worked with this product. Not to mention that if you have textured skin or you have acne, this foundation will not only irritate your skin more, but it will not cover it up. It makes it look like you have gray spots all over your face. As someone with acne and has been searching forever to find a good foundation that’s also full coverage, this product will not help you at ALL. I even bought a second bottle to see if the first one I got was just a bad batch. Nope! Please be careful especially with the textured skin girlies. This foundation is not it and has created more pimples on my face even after washing it off properly.

In my opinion the new Super Stay 30H Foundation outperforms the original in many ways. It's still affordable which is a plus, same good packaging but the formula is a winner. It's way more lightweight than the original, it lasts just as well and maybe even better. It didn't start budging anywhere on my face and there was no separation happening. My cheeks separated very often due to dryness when I wear matte foundations and this one just did nothing. It sat perfectly fine on my face for the whole day and went through a workout and not just once. I really like this foundation.

This is my go to product for coverage. I have combination skin with a few fine lines and it does not settle into them. It’s definitely full coverage and provides a matte finish of you want a dewy finish you would have to apply bronzer or even a setting spray. I have used this foundation in very hot humid temperatures and it holds up. Most times I do not set with a powder or spray after applying. It’s also buildable and can be touched up without looking patchy. I’ve tried many other high end brands claiming to be sweat resistant, smudge proof and long wear but this is the best I have found!

this is one of my favorite foundations!! I use this almost everyday. this foundation is very full coverage but it doesn’t look like too much. it blends into the skin beautifully, making my skin look smooth. I have acne prone skin and hyperpigmentation, and this covers it right up without irritating my skin. of course you can’t cover texture, but the acne and redness, gone! I wear this for HOURS and it doesn’t budge. there’s days where I wear this for 10-12 hours and it still looks great. I have combination skin for reference. overall I’d recommend this foundation, especially if you want full coverage and long wear.

Maybelline is a bit of a hit or a miss for me and this foundation is not only a miss but it is also a mess. If I'm being totally honest, this was the foundation that turned me off of drugstore foundation all together. I used to only wear this foundation and I could never figure out why my makeup was always such a mess by the end of the day. My main complaint about this foundation is that it is absolutely not long wearing and does not last all day. The foundation itself is thick and cakey looking. I typically enjoy a foundation with a thinner consistency that could give the appearance of real skin. I found when I applied this foundation it was always very obvious that I was wearing a thick layer of makeup. I found when applying this foundation I had the hardest time trying to blend it in with my skin. Even though I lightly set my face with powder, I would notice the foundation would start to break down soon after finishing my makeup. I am a very oily/sweaty person so I really need a foundation that is going to stand the test of time. I don't think anybody with oily skin would be able to tolerate this foundation as I find my oils tend to break down this foundation quickly and easily. I also always had a hard time trying to get it to stick to my nose. I would like to give credit where it is due and mention that the shade range of the product is exceptional. I would think that the majority of people would be able to find their shade. The product is also a lot cheaper than any foundation you would find at Sephora. The price point is also much more affordable than anything high-end. That being said, in my opinion, $20 CAD is still quite a bit of money for a drugstore foundation. I would never wear this foundation ever again and think it would be much more prudent to try the elf camo foundation, the L'Oreal true match foundation, or something a little more high-end if at all possible. Better to save and splurge then go with this disaster!

I highly recommend this foundation for persons with a lot of spots, marks, hyperpigmentation, as uneven skin tone. I suffer from at least two of the above, dealing with the onslaught of PCOS-induced hirsutism and the blemishes that they leave in their wake. A visit to Montego Bay landed me in a makeup seller’s chair in late 2020. It could have been the margaritas running through me, but I just wasn’t sure that coconut (shade 355) was really a match for me. But I went with the expert and I must say that more than two years on, I’ve grown comfortable with all my blemishes being erased in one fell-swoop. Who knew? Certainly not ‘minimalist’ me. Sure, I and my type wish to look our natural selves when wearing makeup… but there are times when our authentic selves shine ... MoreI highly recommend this foundation for persons with a lot of spots, marks, hyperpigmentation, as uneven skin tone. It didn't look cakey, but you can obviously tell that you have foundation on because its that type that almost doesn't melt into the skin. At least for me. I have worn this foundation a couple times after that but honestly I don't really reach for it as much because there are way better foundations that give such a beautiful coverage and look skin like.. i personally love a light to medium coverage foundation. But if you love full coverage foundations then you will really love this!

Bottle: The pump works well and the bottle itself is cute. Scent: Smells like generic makeup if you intentionally smell the liquid, I haven’t noticed it after applying. Etc: I can imagine this would look especially pretty on someone with normal/oily skin as it does give a nice even matte look on the non-dry areas of my face.
