Maytronics Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaner E10

I hesitate to give this a 5 star rating. The first time i put it into my pool, I sttod and watched it for a few minutes. The first time it passed over an area of dirt/debris, I watched a cloud disperse around the cleaner. I was a bit dismayed but didn't have time to just stand and watch it. When I came back 90mins later, the pool was clean! How much dirt was just stirred up, I don't know. What I do know, is that I haven't vacuumed my pool for weeks. Finally broke out the vacuum because it wasn't picking up some leaves. All in all, I guess I'm pretty satisfied.

Best vacuum we’ve had! We’ve had a pool for over 25 years and this is the best vacuum! Cleans thoroughly, does not get hung up on the ladder, does not shake the skimmer basket since it goes directly in the pool. It also picks up everything. Very happy with our purchase.

This pool cleaner was a lifesaver! We have a 24’ Intex pool, the cover was damaged in a wind storm in January. So by mid April the bottom was covered with tons of debris and of course algae. This little guy did an amazing job! It’s literally as easy as drop him in and push start. After running several cycles all the debris was gone. The debris basket is super easy to hose out. My only regret is that I didn’t purchase this last summer.

BEST ABOVE GROUND POOL ROBOTIC VACUUM!!

For four years I have wasted my money in pool vacs. UNTIL now this is the absolute best I have every seen. I used the filters that came with it. I was so shocked at what was picked up by it. When I purchased this I also purchased the ultrafine filter basket. All I can say is oh my where has this been my entire pool life. You will not be let down by purchasing this robotic vacuum. It is well worth the money. I have a above ground 24 foot round pool With a drop in ladder. This vacuum has yet to get stuck anywhere in my pool and even climbs the wall. Stop wasting your money on other vacuums and purchase this one today!!!!

Buyer Beware

I purchased this item last year on sale from Walmart.com at the end of the swim season. I began using it this spring. The cleaner does not climb walls , and that is fine, but instead of going at 90 degree angle and then backing off, it continues to move in the same direction. same spot , causing major tears in my vinyl liner in-ground pool. Have attempted to contact walmart vendor as well as the manufacturer(Maytronics) with no response. All I want is pool cleaner that won't damage my pool. Its under warranty , but no responses from vendor or Manufacturer. Help me Wal-Mart. Hold your vendors to a higher standard than this.

Can not use this product with extension cords

Well it’s got a big warning on it that says Do Not use an extension cord what so ever for any reason. That’s a problem for most people I’m sure because pools are not always right next to there houses like mine. I had to use an extension cord but I did hook the cord into a heavy duty, grounded serge protecter for outdoor use. It seems to be ok for now, but no I don’t like that I am not really supposed to use an extension cord, and it could be a huge safety issue. I used my own judgment and went ahead and still did what it said not to do but that is on me. Other then that it seems to be doing a great job vacuuming my pool.

Good little vacuum

This is my first purchase of a Pool vac. Ive had it for a few months. So far so good.Cord lengthI use this on a 30' above ground pool, power supply is about 5 ft away. The cords reach, just barely.Cleaning effectiveness:It vacumes the pool floor pretty well, sometimes it takes a second run to get everything.It floats on purpose:I was a little concerned when I saw it "float" repeatedly when I first ran it, but I came to realize it is popping up its front intentionally inorder to turn. I think this is what others have mentioned when they talk about it floating. You have to ignore it and let it do its thing.Filter:The filter that comes with it is good for small leaves, grass and bugs, but I'm glad I ordered the microfilter. They want you to purchase it at a local pool supply authorizedvendor for full coverage, but I called around and the local version is about $150 more. I purchased the Walmart extended warranty for $50 to insure that all was covered. Hopefully I never have to test out the warranty.4 Starsit does a good job of cleaning, but because it takes two runs to clean completley, there is a local supplier clause in the warranty, and I had to purchase the second filter, I dont feel that it warrants 5 stars.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I can spend time swimming instead of vacuuming. I sometimes wish I would have gotten the model with remote control and auto timer, but that's a few hundred dollars more. Hopefully it lasts for many seasons.

Great value compared to the more expensive robots.

I was battling myself to get either the E10 or the Escape with the Escape being a 100 dollars more . Both are above ground pool cleaners which Is what I need. I'm so glad I settled on the escape , The only difference I believe Is that with the escape you can program a 2hr cleaning cycle The E10 gives you 1.5 hrs, and the main cord is 5 feet longer, but for some reason maytronics gives the escape a 1 year warranty and the E10 a 2 year. The escape Is for a very large pool. I have 12x24 oval the E10 Is perfect for me, I have part of a oak tree over the back portion of my pool so toward the end of the season, the back half of my pool Is filled with a good bit of green and decomposed leaves, twigs and acorns. The E10 picked up all that crap In my pool in about 50 min.

I debated and debated on purchasing a pool robot, because I already owned a pool cleaner that did the job. The only hassle was getting out the hose and connecting it and letting it do its thing. But I still wanted to try a robot to see if it was really cleaned any better and was it worth the money....so I caved and purchased one. It arrived relatively quickly and I was excited to try it out. I opened the box, took everything out and read the instructions to see how to prepare the machine and get it connected....uh....can we say so simple? It arrived ready to go. Nothing to assemble...only needed to be placed in the pool, connected to a power source and press the button. Bam! an hour and half later, the robot stopped after completing its cycle. Will never purchase from InTheSwim.com again

Before purchasing the Dolphin E10 I did due diligence. Found a common complaint on Amazon.com was the unit did not pick up fine debris without the additional purchase of a fine filter basket. When I went on InTheSwim.com I saw the same unit for $100. more - and two baskets featured in the photos on their website. So I called customer service for clarification on the additional price and extra basket. She said I was paying more for the fine filter basket - which I was okay with. She lied. I received the unit and there was only (1) basket. The Amazon reviewers were right. Fine debris shoots out the top of the unit. I called InTheSwim back immediately.
