10 pounds of the Smallest Potatoes ever ! !☹️Who ever pack this needs to be Fired!Who puts Bread in the Bag with 10 pounds of Potatoes ??? I didn’t think Potatoes even fit inside a bag ! There was 1 can per bag ?? But the two cans of pie filling was together but looked like something happened bent cans badly. The Sour cream and cottage cheese was bent half into. Look like someone Stepped on them and then kicked them.

Having used this brown gravy packet on numerous occasions throughout the years, I was fortunate enough to receive it as a free sample just before Thanksgiving. It's undoubtedly a timeless classic. The flavor is a nostalgic journey, evoking cherished memories from my childhood. However, I must confess that, over time, I've found the taste to be a tad predictable. Nevertheless, it remains a reliable and fail-safe choice for gravy.

Believe it or not, it is extremely difficult to find gravy or the ingredients to make a brown gravy where I am. I can't even find beef boullion. I had no desire to buy beef or bones just to make gravy. McCormick to the rescue! I confess the main reason I bought it was because I wanted to make something like a KFC mashed potato bowl (the ultimate in unhealthy comfort food!). The gravy may not have been authentic KFC but it was delicious and so quick and easy to make. I have ordered a number of McCormick products and they always elevate what could otherwise be just another humdrum dish.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. It's the time of year where the crock pot is pulled out, there are lots of cool weather get togethers, and entertaining friends and family happens more often-especially for the holidays! This gravy packet is perfect for all of the above, and is a holiday tradition. It's quick and easy to use with straightforward instructions. You do not need to go out and buy a whole shelf of spices to make chili once-although we did add a dash of some of our favorites like smoked paprika, roasted garlic, and salt free adobo to give it just a little extra pizazz! Flavor is good and everyone was pleased!
Well, you could knock me over with a feather. Good-tasting gravy from a POWDER? I would never have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself.It can be used for so much beyond just gravy- use it to flavor up some roasts, add a little to soups, add to other dishes that benefit from flavor boost and some creaminess. Making Beef Stroganoff, Cottage Pie, Beef and Broccoli? Okay, maybe not the Beef and Broccoli, but, if you are making a beef dish that requires a beefy slurry or a thickened beefy stock, this is the go to in my house. While making Cottage Pie one day I decided to try and up the game but without too much complications, this has become the ingredient. Sure, making the stock with a little condensed tomato paste, worcestershire, butter and flour is indeed a work of passion and love, but when you are spending a few hours in the kitchen to cook all of the other ingredients, a few corner cuts can indeed make a difference.
I received the McCormick Brown Gravy Mix. I used this gravy mix at Thanksgiving it was easy to prepare and make. The color of the gravy was perfect, it smelled great and tasted delicious on our mashed potatoes. It was just so simple to make. I will not go back to making my own gravy, as it never turns out like this gravy mix. I have several recipes lined up, and packets of McCormick Brown Gravy Mix to use. This also cuts down on my time in preparing my gravy.
I received this McCormick Brown Gravy Mix for free in exchange for writing this review. And when I say that the directions were so simple and easy, that would be an understatement and that's what I love about McCormick products. I really like the new updated packaging as well. I highly recommend this gravy if you're looking to create your own instead of the ready made jar bought gravy. The gravy was very flavorful, had the right thickness and consistency and it actually enhanced my meal. I'm definitely going to stock up on this gravy so I'll always have some on hand when I need it.
Very creamy and dissolves very well, much better than other or store brands, has all the spices needed but not overpowered with pepper like many others, but not spicy or hot, it brings me back to what momma used to make, very easy and can make in less than 5 minutes, I also like it is easy to store packet, and premeasured packet is easy to use for 6-8 people with good size portions. It tasted great over our homemade mashed potatoes, It is our go to gravy. It is great for a quick night gravy or a Thanksgiving dinner. I did receive this product for free for writing this review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
McCormick sent me this free sample of their brown gravy through the BzzAgent sampling program. I would recommend this product with reservations. I have used the chicken gravy packet for years and have always loved the classic flavor. I was interesting to try the brown gravy. The gravy tastes good and is very easy to make. My issue is that the ingredients are not the best. There are a lot of other more natural products on the market, and are comparable for taste and ease of preparation. I would buy this product if I knew I needed a quick, easy, readily available gravy, but if I had the time I would consider other options.
