After feeding this product to my cat for a number of weeks he was unable to urinate. Had we not been in covid-19 isolation we may not have noticed this as quickly as what we did and things could have been much worse for him. After our vet took urine from our cats bladder with a syringe and looked at it under a microscope he discovered that his urine was highly crystallised due to the high mineral content in his diet. A switch to a different food and our cat is back to normal thankfully. Obviously I'm not saying that this food have this effect on other cats, but our cat now has to eat Royal Canin Urinary.

My ragdoll cat, Alfie, gets sick if he eats chicken. Chicken is in most cat foods so I have struggled to find a food that does not make him sick. Meals for Meows Mackerel and Salmon is the perfect food! Alfie loves it (the dog even tries to snaffle it) and he has not been sick once since we started him on this food. Highly recommend.

Cats really enjoy the taste of the food and their coats are really healthy. The packaging is easy to open. Smell is not too bad and not overly strong. Definitely would recommend this product and I would buy it again.

A trusted breeder recommended me this brand. I bought both Mackerel and Kangaroo one. My cat wasn't very crazy for both in the beginning but I left him no choice so eventually he got use to it and finished those 2 bags. I guess this brand didn't add much "enhancers" just for the sake of increasing the palatability. I'm always a bit skeptical about some kibbles with very high palatability. I'd buy this brand again

What was a tad frustrating with this particular product this time is there was a change of ingredients = "Yes, we have improved our formula and have added coconut oil, turmeric and parsley." was MFM response via Messenger followed by "Perhaps the sudden change in diet has caused a reaction with your cat." Perhaps stating the obvious given the diet change had caused him to vomit more than once much to our alarm. Not cool. Premium product comes with premium expectations too and I'm not sure the communication of this change and probable outcomes would fit into the 'premium' category. Out of all the many dry cat foods that I have given my 36+ cats to try Meals for Meows Salmon and Mackerel Dry Cat Food is by far their favourite. Normally they don't all agree on which is the best but with this one every single one of them loves it and eats it down with no fusspot problems. The 9kg bag is very handy and lasts for up to a week which is great ! I recommend this dry cat food for all cats, big and small, young or old, an only cat or part of a big furfamily, there won't be any left overs.
My friend recommended me this brand so I bought a huge bag of it. My cat has delicate stomach, he was on Hills DD, but it was too expensive so I tried this as it says it’s grain free and hypoallergenic. First he wasn’t interested at all, then he was hungry so kind of start to take the food. First week I realized he kept scratching his face, and caused hair lost on the face the first week. Then it got worse, he had diarrhea... so if anyone wants to try this brand please make sure you try the small bag. I have contacted mypetwarehouse hopefully can get a refund :(
I bought this for my cats because it sounded like a great product. Unfortunately, my cats ate it a few times and then stopped. They are normally greedy pigs that eat their food in minutes but this food was still in their bowl when I came home from work. Their water intake however doubled when they were eating it. Another downside was my cats are indoor cats and the smell of their poo in the litter trays was quite overpowering!!
My cat has NUMEROUS allergies so it's been hard finding any dry food, other than the less-than-appetising anallergenic crunchies, that she can eat. While she did seem to like this one, it made her coat very greasy and her poops insanely smelly, where previously they didn't smell at all. Seems to be a good food for cat with allergies, but just not for my cat.
