I bought this item around 2 weeks ago, and it has honestly become one of my favourite purchases I have ever made. I first tried this product as a tester on one of my pimples and it basically worked overnight, and by the 2nd night it was completely gone so you know I had to run back to Mecca to grab one. I honestly can say I don’t think I’ll have any problems with breakouts and pimples ever again because as soon as my current one runs out, I’m absolutely going to be repurchasing this amazing product and I’ve already recommended this product to family and friends.

So I don't normally do reviews. But every now and then I am struck by how much I like something, and this serum I definitely am.My skin is looking the clearest it has looked since I was in my early teens. I don't get crazy acne, but I get bumps and small little pimples almost constantly (like two or three at a time by my eyebrows or my chin) and I have a bad habit of picking at bumps until they become sores so using something s a spot treatment is useless, I counter anything good with my picking fingers so my goal is to prevent bumps from forming at all.This serum has done that, the almost healed sores I had are smooth and healing and I haven't gotten any new ones in over a week (which is like a crazy long record for me).I use the serum almost every day either ... MoreSo I don't normally do reviews. I will admit I am also using the Mecca Max exfoliating toner as well (same routine as the serum, with a break every few days using a essential oil toner water) and I use my normal shea butter and vitamin e moisturiser (not from Mecca).I know part of why my skin is good is because of how I do my routine, but I am attributing a large chunk of why my skin is not having any breakouts to the serum. I love it.

I bought this product two weeks ago & have already seen a massive improvement in my skin. I’ve tried many different products over the years when my acne flares up but nothing has cleared it like this has. I’ve been using the serum morning & night, combined with the Mecca Foam-O Gel Cleanser & the Mecca Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturiser and could not be happier with how my skin is clearing up. My skin is oily through the t-zone & into my cheeks & dry everywhere else. None of these products have dried my skin out & in fact, it’s looking less dry and flaky than normal.

If caused embarrassing breakouts. I stopped using it, and double cleansed by face instead, and focused on other areas of my skincare routine and my pimples have reduced on their own.Using this caused new breakouts overnight, I often woke up to a new batch where I never get them. As soon as I stopped using the product, the pimples went overnight.I am happy that for most people this product worked. For the minority, me included, it did not work
I have been using this serum daily for around 2 months. In that time I’ve only had one pimple! I would normally wake up to several a week on my chin/jawline. It has minimised breakouts and the congestion around my mouth is gone! The skin is so smooth now. Super happy, I highly recommend this serum.
The breakup serum is a great serum.Usually I find products with niacinamide to be very sticky, and the salicylic acid tends to sting my skin ( I have very sensitive skin). Not to mention zinc products tend to leave a white cast, as someone with Indian (olive) skintone, it's really important for me that the products don't leave any kind of cast behind. The serum isn't sticky, infact it glides on smoothly and drys matte. Doesn't sting or leave a white cast behind. Not to mention that it has helped with my acne/breakouts a lot. All in all love the product and would purchase it again.
This product is so great for closing up my enlarge pores and smoothing up my skin. I bought this product a few year ago and have continued to buy and use it regularly since then. I have really large pores and get acne on and off and this product really helps my skin look a lot more smooth and homogenous. I would absolutely recommend this, particular to anyone with large pores or blemished skin.

I have combo sensitive skin and always get blind pimples/cystic pimples around my mouth and chin. They get so swollen and red and sore! And stay for weeks. I used this once all over the affected area, chucked on my moisturiser and went to bed. When I woke up my acne was a bit smaller/less swollen, less red and they didn’t hurt any more! it didn’t dry out the skin like other salicylic products, or irritate my sensitive skin! I thought for sure I’d have to wait weeks to see any results but overnight is just magical! And best of all it’s SO CHEAP! My new daily staple. I'd run out of my non mecca brand blemish serum and was at Rundle mall, looking at the mecca Max range as I'm currently obsessed from making the switch to all mecca for skin care... and had seen this, the beautiful lady with the lashes and red lips( didn't grab her name I'm. Sorry).. suggested this as opposed to what I had run out of. Funny, because I'd read it before and wanted to try and it was right in front of me. How could I not. I use it nightly, it's gentle enough if your skin can get sensitive, it's cleared and smoothed my skin, it's a great price, the texture is glossy but no grease and absorbs immediately. Honestly it's been a skin game changer for me. Another hit in my mecca Max skin care routine. Love this.
I have been struggling with a raging case of hormonal acne and have tried so many different products in the last year. This is the first product that made an immediate difference to my skin. While I've only been using it a couple of weeks, it's stopped the red angry flaring pimples which I'm so happy about. Didn't cause any irritation either that I've gotten with other products. It feels really nice on the skin, absorbs well and doesn't look weird under makeup. Love it and will repurchase for sure.
