MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries

It's decent, provides a nice linear storyline which frankly isn't all that amazing, but does add some much needed content into a barebones game. In sections it's quite difficult, especially if you're underprepared.

May not be the classic MW4 I played as I child, but still feels nice to play with my old MW4 clan. Good game to turn your brain off and play with a few friends, throw some mods on and you can make it a greater game. Worth every penny.

The game itself is pretty good - it gets a bit monotonous, but I've still dumped a pile of hours into it.I bought it thinking that it would be a pretty sweet VR game, but it's community modded and isn't the smoothest on the Quest 2. The jittery screen may just need more tweaking, but it's borderline unplayable in VR.The graphics and gameplay on the PC are smooth and it feels like a mech game should. All in all, a good buy if you're a fan of the series.

Overall this is a fairly okay DLC, too pricey at it's full price but if you can snag it on sale it is worth it, adds some more mission variety, the campaign itself is also just okay, it doesn't add too much but is somewhat interesting. If you need to make a choice between this and the other DLC Heroes of the Inner Sphere I would personally recommend the latter first as it does add a couple of mechs as well as signifigantly increases the number of variations for the existing mechs.
Good if your a mwo enjoyer. Pretty much the exact same thing with better graphics and a star map campaign that's an excuse for the typical mwo missions
The game is broken looks like crap play's like crap co-op is unplayable. I have a i9 9900k RTX 3080 32gb ram so it does not make any sense why it's so unplayable.
A pretty solid stompy stompy Mech game, much like the Mechwarrior games of old.On sale it's a steal, even with the small annoyances.Interface oddities, pathing issues, bone stupid AI pilots... but still an enjoyable PPC-throwing time.
I am a mech fan but this is now my favorite game period which is saying a lot as I own over 1000 games. They have continued to make improvements to the base game and the DLC has added value. The mods can adjust things to meet other demands. Is great for someone who is just casual or someone who wants to go deep. Very satisfying destruction. :) I have played this a about 600 hours.
Was okay. Wish Operation RAT had more quests in it, or that the pack had a second long run quest line.Probably worth 10 bucks on sale, but wouldnt pay full price for the content contained.
The funniest game! However, I don't understand the content until after I land on the battlefield. For example, a briefing would increase realism. It would be more fun if we could give detailed instructions to our allies.・Priority attack on MecH・Priority attack on facilities・Save bulletsetc...
