I got this item in a trial size to see how my skin would react. I am 45 this year, and as we know, our skin changes with age.Since entering my 40s, my skin has been a nightmare; I get dry patches where I did not before, breakouts, fine lines and a general dull look, and to top it off, I now get slight rosacea.I was looking for something that would be hydrating and soothing while also working to reduce those pesky fine lines. This product does just that. I no longer wake up with puffy, tired skin. Instead, it's fresh-looking and oh-so soft. Yes, I am most certainly getting the full size.

If I occasionally scratch (although there isn't much to scratch anymore after using this in combination with other medik8 products), I put this on straight away. I see how it soothes my skin and works together with my natural oils to repair the damage overnight. Long term, this has been helping me to rebuild that natural skin barrier. I always thought my skin type is dry as I was feeling tightness each time I washed my face (caused my exessive use of moisturisers which made my skin a little lazy). When I find out it's an oil/combination skin type, this helped me to repair that barrier which made my skin feel normal again. In winter, I put this during the day sometimes, as where temperatures drop near or below 0, this is a lovely product to have to protect your skin

Started my Medik8 journey two weeks ago after doing lots of research on brands and products to improve and look after skin as approaching 40. And all I can say is the products work! Advanced night restore has already smoothed out wrinkles on my neck and chest area and improved the ‘crepey’ texture on side on my face. I can’t wait to see the continued improvements after much longer use! I just don’t know what to think of this product. I really wanted to like it, as it’s touted as the perfect follow up to crystal retinal which I use and love. But it is so intensely mattifying that my skin just looks so incredibly dull. It’s kind of depressing to wake up to. Even the crystal retinal itself, which is a matt product leaves my skin with more of a glow.Don’t get me wrong, my skin feels wonderful-soft, comfortable and well hydrated, it just looks terrible. I prefer a dewy finish, or at least a hint of glow, so I probably won’t repurchase as there’s not much point in having skin that feels good if you don’t like the look of it. Sad, as on paper it looks perfect

I’ve always been married to my Sunday Riley products but I’m slowly moving over to Medikate, slowly to avoid a reaction. Because I had some sample and I loved them so much that I bought the trial style box, which was amazing, so now I’ve gone and purchased this night cream to replace Sunday Riley tidal, which seems unavailable these days. Anyway, this brand just seems so reasonably priced for such beautiful effective products, I’ve been using the retinol and day cream for a while now. And this has also impressed me. Multi functional night cream, beautiful texture consistency and scent. Didn’t seem to have a spactular with it, even though says on the box included. But il forgive them, as I probably wouldn’t have used it anyway. Another win for Medikate.
I'm a big medik8 fan and just started using this product. I was using a different face cream but it wasn't a night cream hence the advanced restore purchase. I noticed some positives within a few days, I loved the smell, it is lovely and smooth to apply feels quite luxurious. As its fairly thick, you don't need much to cover your face and neck. My skin feels softer and smoother and it works with my retinol. It also soaks into the skin quickly. I have given it 4 stars and not 5 purely because I haven't used for long so not sure of the overall results.
Medik8 night restore is the first ceramide cream I have used that is not too heavy for my combination skin. It has an almost balm like texture but absorbs into skin, I use this with the Crystal retinal and whenever I use a more active serum as my last layer. My skin is very sensitive and dehydrated and this works great after retinal, skin is so soft and smooth and hydrated. I can even use this on my oily t zone after an active serum. Most other ceramide creams I have tried are too much for my skin so this is a great option if you have found them too rich or heavy. It has also caused me no issues with sensitivity and it lasts ages, if you are finding retinal a little drying it’s perfect to apply after.
