Medik8 C-Tetra Luxe 30ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! Amazing

I do love most Medik8 products, and this vitamin C is no exception. I have tried the other vitamin C formulas from the brand however this is my favorite. I do notice brightness and a “glow” to my face after using it. Cannot comment much on the hyperpigmentation as I don’t suffer much from it. However, I have used many, many vitamin C formulas from high-end brands, including Skinceuticals, and this particular one is among my favorites. Yes, it’s pricy, but a little goes a long way and I believe it’s worth splurging on whenever SpaceNK runs promotions. Also, maybe of interest to someone, I have scanned the ingredient list and this formula seems to have less “allergens” than other Medik8 vitamin C formulas, hence the “luxe” version I believe. My gosh, how sad I'll be when I get to the end of my bottle of this sweet, sweet face nectar. I'd tried a few Medik8 products via samples and been really impressed with how high quality and hi-tech they seemed to be for a fairly reasonable price point. I finally took the plunge on my first full-sized Medik8 with this baby, and don't regret a thing. A few reviewers have commented on it being very oily, which I honestly haven't personally experienced thus far. It feels like a dream going on, and the smell!! it's totally delicious. And it very much feels like it's doing my skin good. A bit like freshly squeezing a big orange all over your face, except without the nasty sticky clean-up operation after. Highly recommended!

Great product

I love a vit c , though some people don’t believe it to be brightening, I find v c has helped my pigmentation, along with other exfoliation products. This is lovely, I use in morning as last step before moisturiser, I’ve been using for about a month and my skin is looking the best it has in years. It’s a good price for the amount of product you get, and the potency. If you have sensitive skin I’d personally recommend they’re weaker version, but I’m used to vit c. So another great product fro medik8. Also it’s like an oil, but not quite an oil, very nice texture anyway

Lovely surprise

I received this in a goody bag and it certainly isn't something I'd have selected myself when choosing a serum - my experience with serums so far is that they are a far more viscous consistency, rather than the oil/liquid this appears to be. Well, I am VERY glad that I had the opportunity to try this, mostly because it's introduced me to the Medik8 brand which has fast become a skincare favourite for me! This serum feels like a lightweight oil, and I was surprised at how little you need, just 6 drops massaged into the face and neck are sufficient. Immediately there's a gorgeous, refreshing citrus fragrance (lovely in the morning!) and once it's sunk in, my skin just feels so velvety! Definitely on the repeat buy list.

Luxe experience & performance

I started off with the travel size, I was a little cautious as I have sensitive skin and I was a bit sceptical as to whether it would suit. I loved it and upgraded to full size. Easy to apply, no waste and brings a lovely glow to my skin on application. Any second stage moisturiser/SPF goes on easy over it with no piling, just give it a few moments to settle in. Definite improvement in some mild sun damage by the sides of my face. But…I do heed the advice. I am definitely more sensitive to any sun exposure (I also use Crystal Retinal 6). Its’s worth every bit of effort to protect, because the radiance that this product has generated for my skin is amazing.

Nice Texture and No Irritation

This is a lovely serum and seems to agree with my skin unlike L-Ascorbic Acid formulas. Haven’t been using long enough to notice appreciable results but I do love the thin, oilier consistency. If it didn’t have citrus peel oils (even in the tiniest amounts), I would absolutely repurchase, however, every single time I apply this and smell the citrus, I cannot help but worry about the potential for future irritant contact dermatitis with repeated use. I absolutely adore my arsenal of MediK8, but I’m on the fence about C-Tetra Luxe simply because of citrus peel oils. I can find other THD formulas without fragrance; but I understand some people love the spa-like experience.

Too oily

This is beyond oily! And it's not one of those dry oils that sink right in. No! This stays on top and does not absorb at all. I also tried it on my mom, who's 65 and has super dry skin that she doesn't take care of so it usually sucks every product right in. Even on her super dry skin, this stayed oily and didn't absorb. Unbelievable! I use only 3 tiny drops. I used it up by 1) sharing some of it with mom (she wasn't a fan), and 2) mixing 2-3 drops in with my moisturizer. So ok, I found a way to work it in, but is it worth it?! After 3 months of using daily, there wasn't any significant fading of any spots. And I'm talking brand new pigmentation, that is usually easily taken care of by vitamin C. But no, this did nothing. It's so disappointing because I regarded ... MoreThis is beyond oily!
