Medik8 - Surface Radiance Cleanse 150ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! A reliable favourite

This is maybe the 3rd of 4th purchase of this cleaner (I have one in my gym bag and one at home too).I have tried the Medik8 clarifying foam too (which is also lovely) but this one lasts much longer.It has a slight lemony scent but foams really nicely and doesn't dry my skin at all. I use it as a second cleanse at night and on its own in the morning and I think this along with other skincare staples keep my skin clear.Try it and I'm sure you wont be disappointed!

Amazing Product- Worth Persevering

My skin definitely took a bit of time getting used to this product! I started using it once a day and then slowly started using it twice a day! It did initially cause my skin to flake in areas but it’s worth persevering with! My skin is so soft and clear after using Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse! Would definitely recommend but just start slowly if you have sensitive skin!

Burnt my face

I was really excited to try out this cleanser as I had heard good reviews. The first time using this cleanser my skin felt abit tight but was ok. The second time my face started to unbearably burn and swell. It left my face bright red, peeling with whiteheads all over, my whole neck had a rash on too. I had to go to the pharmacist and was giving steroid cream, and had to take antihistamine for a week. Which was very painful. And has taken nearly a month to heal. My skin is used to acids and retinols so there must be something very strong in this. I have also seen similar reviews, so please be cautious with this product. It definitely is not for twice daily use.

Burnt my skin

I am used to using harsher products, acids & retinols on my skin. My skin is very tolerable however this product is way too harsh! Unfortunately I started using this cleanser for a few days and it burnt my skin. I was left with sore red patches on my skin and a burning feeling all over! My skin is usually clear but looks awful at the moment as it is very red and blotchy. Also used on my neck and it has made me breakout.

Good cleanser

I got this as I’m gradually buying medik8 products for my skincare regime after being very impressed with the toner and oil. This is a great product too and I can really feel all of my makeup melting away when I’m using it. It has a very light, pleasant fragrance and a good consistency. I have combination skin and feel this is more effective on the parts of my face that are more oily than dry. A good product and think it will last ages.

Incredible

I first bought it because last summer my skin was becoming incredibly congested, moreso than usual. After using this for a few days, it was cleared up. I haven't been without this cleanser since.It leaves my skin feeling very clean, and looking reliably brighter and clearer. However, it is very effective, and when my skin is being particularly sensitive or dry, I find it more suitable for use every other day or so, as opposed to every day.

Not a fan

Now, I an a Medik8 lover. But this specific product just does nothing. I've used for weeks and my daughter used for longer and although the lather on your face is definitely really good, it hardly removes anything. The bonus is its suitable for tweens and sensitive skin, but just does nothing so I struggle to understand the reviews that says it's amazing! My daughters face just had a major build up after using this so I switched her to the Medik8 pore scrub (amazing)and gentle daily cleanser which do a fab job for both of us.

Powerful for a rinse-off product

I will often use a chemical exfoliant based cleanser in my morning routine. It’s a way to do 2 steps in one (cleansing and gentle acid exfoliation) without compromising the remaining actives I use in my routine. This is one of the most powerful cleansers I have tried, as far as chemical exfoliation is concerned, and I’ve suffered no irritation from it. It’s also an effective cleanser by one of my favourite brands.
