I tried two other brands but was not happy with the fit. My arm length is 44cm, so I ordered a Long. I was concerned it might be too long, but It is perfect and stays in place on my upper arm. The fabric is soft and does not constrict at the wrist or elbow. I already bought a second one. BrightLife Direct has wonderful customer service!

I chose to try just the sleeve without the attached gauntlet and it works well for the reason I purchased it... to a point. I am going to order either the glove or the gauntlet in addition as my hand needs the compression. Otherwise fluid collects during the day in my hand and it gets quite swollen. The representative & I discussed that at the time I made this purchase & I chose to see how just the sleeve worked while in the kitchen with my hands often in water. With the addition of a glove or gauntlet, I can always slip that on & off as appropriate. Thank you, BrightLife Direct for such helpful representatives.

This compression sleeve in size IV was not a very good value for the cost of $76, with a 20% discount I received as a new customer. I purchased it in July and followed the care instructions,but it is starting to look frayed and stretched and worn after only five months. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is in this one and ones you can just buy at a retailer for $20 or $30. It's probably good to have more than one, but at the cost of $90, it's not really an option when you're on a fixed income and Lymphedema supplies aren't, typically, covered by health insurance.
My Mediven Harmony Compression Arm Sleeve is fabulous w/ an extremely comfortable amount of compression spread over my left arm. In the box containing my Compression Arm Sleeve was a pamphlet w/ instructions on the correct way to put on the sleeve & I can’t express how valuable the information in this pamphlet is. I’ve never received instructions or much information from the individuals fitting & selling me a Compression Arm Sleeve directly in a medical supply store in Frederick MD. Putting Corn Starch Baby Powder orBaby Powder makes a world of difference when putting on a compression arm sleeve & that’s just the 1st instruction. Having Donning Gloves also comes in mighty handy. After trying numerous armsleeves and being consistently disappointed with their comfort, durability and effectiveness, I am so thankful I found the Mediven Harmony armsleeve. I find it far superior to the Juzo, LympheDiva and Allegro sleeves I have used. It is extremely comfortable at the wrist, elbow and top band and stays in place very well. I found the sizing chart and instructions for measuring inadequate. The chart does not show how to measure for length of a sleeve. I am needing just the sleeve, not the gauntlet variety that covers hand and/or hand and fingers. So to measure the length, I know I would begin at my wrist. The diagram/chart does not show how high up the arm to measure the length. I have ended up with sleeves that end up in my armpit which causes too much pressure and wrinkling of sleeve fabric. The chart should show where to begin and end the length..
I have bought the sleeve twice before. This is the third one. When it came it smelled like chemicals so badly. I couldn't wear it. Now I have to wash it first. This didn't happen with the first two. Hopefully that smell will come out. Karen
The built in gauntlet and the promise "Special knitting ellipses at the elbow provide extra comfort when wearing" was spot on! I can wear this for long periods without discomfort or binding. I have had lymphedema over 22 years and this product is a revelation.
I wish I could find more one piece sleeves - especially ones with designs. I usually get major creases in my wrist from two piece sleeve gauntlets, and then my hand swells. This one is great and does not cause that at all. I only wish the gauntlet part was a little smaller. sometimes i have to put a gauntlet on in addition to this. Because of this, I only gave it 4 stars. I also wish they'd make them in brown and white.
