I’ve been buying Medivan’s compression sleeve plus gauntlet for a few years. They are well made. The combination works much better for me than the sleeve and glove. However, I’m able to wear a glove over the gauntlet, and I get even compression without binding at wrist.

This compression sleeve in size IV was not a very good value for the cost of $76, with a 20% discount I received as a new customer. I purchased it in July and followed the care instructions,but it is starting to look frayed and stretched and worn after only five months. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is in this one and ones you can just buy at a retailer for $20 or $30. It's probably good to have more than one, but at the cost of $90, it's not really an option when you're on a fixed income and Lymphedema supplies aren't, typically, covered by health insurance.

I have bought the sleeve twice before. This is the third one. When it came it smelled like chemicals so badly. I couldn't wear it. Now I have to wash it first. This didn't happen with the first two. Hopefully that smell will come out. Karen
The built in gauntlet and the promise "Special knitting ellipses at the elbow provide extra comfort when wearing" was spot on! I can wear this for long periods without discomfort or binding. I have had lymphedema over 22 years and this product is a revelation.
First time I ordered them last year, I thought they were a miracle come true. This year, when I reordered, the hand was so loose which made the wrist loose. My issue is my wrist size which is 14cm so, initially, the gauntlet was tight enuf to ensure the wrist was tight enuf. I also think the material used is less durable. Sorry my bubble burst.
I wish I could find more one piece sleeves - especially ones with designs. I usually get major creases in my wrist from two piece sleeve gauntlets, and then my hand swells. This one is great and does not cause that at all. I only wish the gauntlet part was a little smaller. sometimes i have to put a gauntlet on in addition to this. Because of this, I only gave it 4 stars. I also wish they'd make them in brown and white.
I am very happy with this product. I was recently diagnosed with lymphedema of my arm and this is the 2nd time I ordered this same sleeve. The first one that I bought 6 months ago still fits ok but the new one has better compression. Feels a little tight at the beginning but I like it like that because I need good compression. I am very satisfied.
