I got the Mega Construx Masters of the Universe battle cat vs roton and we absolutly enjoyed it. It was not difficult to piece together at all. I feel its very durable and loads of fun. All 3 of my kids enjoyed putting it together and having turns playing with it. Definitely something to keep them busy and imaginative. I highly recommend this toy.

About two weeks ago we received this toy. The toy is for ages 8 and up and comes with 173 building bricks. The set includes He-Man, Roton, and Battle cat.My 10 year old son put the set together in about 15 minutes. It was easy for him to build and the quality is excellent. He plays hard and this set has held up well. I highly recommend this set for anyone who enjoys building sets or Anyone who is a fan of Masters of the Universe.It is an added bonus to see something that I enjoyed so much from my childhood being enjoyed by my kids! They haven’t stopped playing with it since we got it!

Putting it together was a bit of a struggle because the pictures of some of the pieces were a bit off. Also as you are going through the steps to put them together, the bags aren't labeled as to which step the pieces belong to so you have to empty all the bags out at once and pick through them to find the right pieces. Kinda time consuming. The blocks themselves are also a bit difficult to snap onto each other unless you get them lined up just perfectly so for an 8 year old trying to put them together got a bit frustrating and needed a bit of help sometimes. Kids like playing with this once it was all put together. However, it was very difficult to assemble. It said for ages 8 & up, but our 10 year old had a difficult time following the instructions and assembling the items; she needed some adult help along the way. The pieces don’t fit together very well; even once assembled, bits still fall off during play.
My 7-year old son was excited to receive this set. He put it together completely on his own, most of it without much difficulty. The designs of the pieces are creative and unique, and everything seems to fit together and function well. While he hasn't played with it a lot yet, it is a nice addition to his play figure collection.
My kids liked this once it was put together,but honestly they had a pretty hard time. The chest piece for (he man I think it is) was extremely hard to get on. My kids tried it, I tried, and my husband tried. My husband finally got it. My son loves the characters. We also had a hard time with the instructions for a couple pieces, they just didn't look like the picture lol. But it was fun.
This Mega Construx was very cool! My nine year old son was the one who opened it and put it together. The characters have movable arms and legs. The Roton actually shoots, and Battle Cat’s helmet comes off. My son put this together very easily. One thing that was a little difficult for him, was that the pieces were harder to pop together and they fell apart a few times. He has enjoyed playing with this play set, and he highly recommends it to others!
My sons love watching He-Man so they were very excited to receive this set of Battle Cat Vs. Roton. They are 9 and 6 and the directions were easy enough that my 6 year old could help build the figures with his brother. They enjoyed putting them together and loved the finished product. It has a lot of little pieces that are able to move around, including shooting pieces, to make the experience more fun. It also comes with the weapons for each guy so they can fight it out. Overall, it’s a great toy set for kids that are good with small pieces and love to build.
When my son received this he was super excited! He watches all the old 1980s he man cartoons so he knew exactly who these characters were! The directions were easy to fallow and we'll written!I believe that this product will last a long time the only thing my son had a issue with was he man's chest plate it fits very snug but I think it will last longer due to this ! Great job Mattel! We love that the retro 1980s characters are coming back out!
This toy incorporates the fun of constructing the vehicle with the imagination of an interactive battle. The Roton is a fierce looking vehicle and the details are really fun for battle. Nimble fingers well help with building this play set. I think an interested 6 year old and older would love it and find it to be an interesting challenge that is still fun and entertaining. Dad enjoyed reminiscing about his childhood Masters of the Universe toys, so that added another layer of happiness and fun to the experience of constructing. Overall a fun toy and easy to transport for fun on the go!
