I was delighted with the attention to detail and quality of the pieces. Give yourself plenty of space. I used the dining room table. I recommend you build on top of a tablecloth or blanket to keep pieces from scattering away.I had a lot of fun building it and recommended to anyone that enjoys building complex models.

This set came out before the actual truck. This was very easy to put together and didn't take that long. The price was right and LOVE the look of this thing.
I making my husband take his time on this one, he can usually get these done fast. He’s enjoying putting this together on his free time. Like the individual packaging and the manual is easy to follow and very helpful
Not worth bothering with. Mega always has had weird fit issues and don't go or stay together in the way that Lego sets do. Even if you like this car it's just not worth it.

Took about 9 hours to complete and I’m a pretty quick builder. Was so fun didn’t want to be done but the finished product is really cool too. Definitely an experience

After investing 20 hours in building the Mega Tesla Cybertruck, I feel obligated to write a review and hopefully help others gain an accurate expectation prior to making a purchase. When factoring price, the build experience and end product, the Mega Tesla Cybertruck falls short in value. What I like: - The concept. The Cybertruck is a unique vehicle and looks like a fun build. - Packaging. The outer and inner boxes are premium. They are artistic and you can tell some thought and effort was put into make them. Too nice to throw out. What I don't like: - 3283 pieces... mostly tiny single peg pieces. Building one larger block with several small blocks is not enjoyable. It's like they purposely created this with as many small blocks and possible just to brag about the long build time and 3283 piece count. Virtually 0 progress is felt until very late in the progress, about 15 hours in. It's very tedious and excessively long. - Quality... is severely lacking. Most of the blocks or bricks are either way too tight, hurting your hands in the process, or way too loose, causing pieces to fall off simply because you touched it. - Fit and Finish.... is laughable. Thegaps between the doors, windows and body are atrocious. Because some pieces have a loose connection, some blocks fall off when you open the doors or drop down the tail gate. - Instructions... coming from Legos, I am used to easy-to-follow instructions that require minimal thought that allows you to fly through builds. When it comes to Mega, they show you what pieces you need and then you get an exploded diagram view of where the pieces go. Which is fine if you're an engineer. For the common person, even with a mechanical background, it required additional time to dissect the instructions. - Black and Dark Gray pieces... Whoever was in charge of picking colors should be fired. The majority of the blocks are black and dark gray, which look identical under normal indoor lighting. Not only do they look the same color, but they're also the same shapes! You can't help but laugh in disappointment. All in all, I can't recommend the Mattel Mega Tesla Cybertruck. The unnecessarily long build time due to an excessive number of small pieces combined with poor quality/fit and finish just isn't rewarding enough for the money and time investment.
