Just attach the wooly pad attachment to a battery drill, add some of the cream cleaner to the pad, place on the light and start the drill slowly at first, gradually increasing the speed. Ensure that you go all over the light and then wipe with a clean cloth. Repeat as necessary. Went over the CRV lights ... Before buying this amazing restoration kit, I tired tooth paste and wd40 and other hacks, nothing worked to remove the horrible frosted green stuff on the headlight. I even thought it was inside the headlamp. Follow the instructions and you'll have a nice new gleaming , transparent plastic. I am truly amazed at the results, plenty in the bottle for future use, not sure if the polishing pads will last as long. Amazing product .

This definitely worked with very noticeable results. I wished the sanding pads were a bit bigger to make them easier to work with. One tip: For the last step with the polish, the instruction slip says "follow the instructions on the box". In fact those instructions are on the underside of the label on the bottle

Really really like this product. Used on a mark 8 Honda Civic, so not only did the headlights get discoloured, so did the centre “grille”. Bought this stuff and it’s the best so far. Just used with a battery drill and everything looks genuinely brand new. Tried others including the Autoglym one and this is miles better.
I was sceptical but went ahead and bought it. My headlights were very cloudy and would have failed an MOT. I thought the cloudiness was inside the headlight units but a Halfords member of staff went with me to my car and said it was oxidation and could be made like new.It was actually so easy to use and after starting spraying the headlights with water and rubbing down with the small pads i started to see a huge difference.It only took less than 1 hour and the lights look like new - honestly. I keep going to my car just to admire my handiwork! The kit is very good and with effort, produces very good results. One of my headlights had been badly treated by the previous owner so need a lot of work. There are 2 abrasive pads and each has 2 different abrasive grades, one each side. I found that 4 steps was not enough and bought a GC Abrasives variety pack of pads instead. These start coarser and have smaller steps between. Although more steps, each one is much less effort - and those GC pads are same grade both sides - so last longer.The polishing liquid works very well and the polishing bonnet is good too. Both will outlast the abrasive pads, even if used wet.Would give 5 stars if there were more pads - both coarser and intermediate stages.
Bought this a week ago. It cost a bit more than I thought but we'll worth it.It's actually a five step process well six if you include sealing the headlights afterwards with ceramic spray otherwise your work will be wasted by UV rays after a few weeks.4 stage wet and dry process with water followed by the cream and buffer pad for use with a electric drill.Then you seal with ceramic spray.My headlights are crystal clear now very impressed.
My headlights were very badly faded and yellowed (car is 12 years old) so I didn't hold out much hope that this would improve things. To my surprise, however, the results were fantastic. I was careful and made sure I masked off the surrounding area with low tack masking tape and, following the instructions to the letter, gave my headlights approx. 3 passes with the polish and pad making sure to wipe off the polish between passes. The results were excellent, the lights restored with a level clarity not far removed from when new. I finished with a coat of carnuba wax to add an extra layer of protection (probably unnecessary but thought it might help and certainly won't do any harm). Possibly a placebo effect, but that night after dark when I went out the lights seemed ... Purchased the item recently. Car was in need of a good clean. The set comes with what you need with the spray and cloths. Quite easy to use and follow and it really did improve the clarity of the headlight and I used on my other older car and really cleaned it up nicely!
