Incredibly easy and simple to use. Read the instructions and don't over apply. Best applied to a cool and properly prepped body whilst under cover or in solid shade. Do not spray on hot panels, it will will instantly congeal and will not spread. Start with a base coat applied to each wet panel after washing and hand polished in whilst drying the car. Then apply a second light coating, rinse the vehicle off and dry with quality buff towels. It'll bead for months in between follow up washing.

I recently have been picking up detailing as a hobby (might have to do with being home 24/7)... Always taken good care of my vehicles, but now I'm getting nerdy scientific about it. Picked this up from Advanced without doing much research, watched some videos online of some pros using it and picked up some tips: 1. make sure you set your base coat first! (don't spray the wax on and spray down with a hose. Instead, after your wash, and vehicle does not need to be completely dry - apply the wax and wipe if off) 2. Don't overcomplicate it - spray, wipe it in cross-hatch pattern and immediately wipe off with a clean microfiber towel. If it ends up drying it takes some buffing to remove. 3. If done properly, you'll find it so easy to use that you always do tip #1. It'll ... MoreI recently have been picking up detailing as a hobby (might have to do with being home 24/7)... It'll have a stronger and longer lasting bond to the paint than spraying it off with a hose.Don't expect an application to last months on end - I always refresh the wax each time I wash the vehicle. I have probably applied this over 12 times and still have over half a bottle left. If you get a pH balanced wash soap, it'll last even longer. In addition to ease, what I love the most is it has very low static cling. You know, when you leave your vehicle outside and you get that thin layer of pollen/dust all over the paint? That doesn't happen nearly as much with this product as others, even ones that advertise low static cling. Oh, and if you leave your vehicle outside in the rain, no matter the product, you'll get rain spots (rain has contaminants in it and will leave that residue on your paint). Get a quick detailer and wipe those suckers off in less than 5 minutes.

I can't speak about the longevity of the protection, but I can say it clearly brings out your paints deep color. On my dark paint you can see the image speaks for itself. The left side I applied the mhcw, and on the right it's not applied yet and looks lighter in color. This is a car that was fully washed, clayed and 2 stage corrected. I did not apply it as directed. I followed the advice of some pro detailers on YouTube and applied it "dry". The reason I say dry in quotes is because the panels were dry. I sprayed it on the dry panels but I still needed a microfiber towel that was damp to evenly spread the product on the panel and then buffed it off with a clean dry microfiber. I recently bought a FGX XR8 that needed a tidy up. After talking with a professional detailer who specialised in ceramic coating he recommended this product as an intrim coating to improve the paint finish. The paint had the usual swirl scratches in the clear coat. After washing the car with strong detergent then clay baring the surface and glass I sprayed 3 squirts of the hybrid ceramic wax onto the wet panel and spread it with a microfibre cloth, continuing around the car for a few minutes before hosing off the coated areas until all the paint and glass was done, then dried with a microfibre towel. The finish was 90% perfect with only a few small scratches showing through. This was done without paint correction which was needed to get it 100% but that will be done ... MoreI recently bought a FGX XR8 that needed a tidy up. The finish was 90% perfect with only a few small scratches showing through. This was done without paint correction which was needed to get it 100% but that will be done when I have more coin to do a proper ceramic coating. A day later I followed the maintenance coating guide on the label for an additional coat thickness and I am really happy with how good the car looks. Water beads like crazy, dust just falls off, brake dust hoses of the wheels and Bembos and bugs fall off. Worth every penny and simple to refresh the coating every month or so.
This is definitely not what's it's cracked up to be. Yes it water beads but I had oxidation and watermarks the day after the application when it rained a little bit. I used it generously as well. Pretty disappointed, it also did not make it easier to clean paint or rims, only the windows were easier to buff. Dirt still stuck to it after the rain, it was parked the whole time, not driven in the rain. And it ate away at my wax application, it says online you can use it on top of wax but on the bottle it does not. Wouldn't suggest it. This product may be great for cars that have perfect paint but if have slight blemishes or scratches and have polished them out, this product only makes them more visible and adds depth to faults in the surface. Only good for water beading.
I have 3 cars and a huge truck to wash. One of the cars is black so you know that is a huge pain in the rear. I followed the instructions and have had great results. Shiny, smooth results and water beads better than on the car I washed and waxed by hand. I read other reviews and want to try applying to a dry car with a wet microfiber towel. Will research that method and try it next. Biggest tip I can give is to have loads of drying towels on hand. If your towel gets too wet, there will be streaking. Also, after spraying on your clean, wet vehicle, you need to blast the heck out of it....meaning use high pressure to spread the wax. Just my opinion. and what has worked for me. I'm on my 3rd bottle and will need a 4th soon. Definitely saves time and I'm happy with the ... MoreI have 3 cars and a huge truck to wash. I bought and applied this product because I wanted to preserve the virgin finish condition of our new Subaru. Three months later I wiped my finger over the finish and there was barely a whisper of dirt... I can only guess that the rain, as we travelled, washed any off. Keep in mind our vehicles are garage kept and usage is low, we're retired. I washed and applied a new coat of Hybrid Ceramic Wax - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS for the first and subsequent times, shake well and frequently. I used their Hybrid Ceramic Detailer on my Jaguar after it was clayed and detailed, and it appears it did not shed the dirt as well as the Subaru, as the same test left dirt on my finger. You really need to clay or otherwise create a perfect finish to preserve with this product, it will ... MoreI bought and applied this product because I wanted to preserve the virgin finish condition of our new Subaru. I heard that ceramic coating assisted in the prevention of AZ Pinstriping (trail branches) and when investigating the cost i decided to look for DIY solutions. I bought Meguiars because of its show car quality. The application was simple and the results were amazing. I have been off-road many times and although I do a great job of keeping the branches off the truck it still happens. After washing the truck there have been NO scratches while other trucks on the ride have experienced scratches into the clear coat. After I wash it I apply another coating of Maguiars Hybrid Wax Spray to enhance the protection. I highly recommend this product for all applications.
Definitely performs as described. Gives the car a sleek shine, outperforms Meguiar's sealant in my view. The water beading is just crazy, and easily lasts between my monthly washes. I also find that the car stays cleaner for longer, even after rain. Water marks post rain considerably reduced and almost non existent on the front hood. Finally the convenience of spraying as part of wash makes it simple. Just remember to follow the instructions during first application as you need to generously spray and then wipe, otherwise it won't have desired effect.
i’ve been “diy” detailer for 30 years caring for my cara and harley’s and this is easily the most impressive product i’ve used. first use i did our brand new civic before driving it from ohio to florida for vacation. while down there the car would get sand all over it then it would rain and car looked as if i detailed it again. after 2 weeks down there we came home and i when i washed the car again the wax was still all over the car when hit w power washer, so i immediately went to dealership and picked up my ridgeline that i purchased while on vacation and got it waxed w this stuff. long story short i was using cg’s ceramic wax and that stuff you couldn’t tell it was on the car when you wash it but now with this stuff i don’t even wash the cars anymore i just foam ... Morei’ve been “diy” detailer for 30 years caring for my cara and harley’s and this is easily the most impressive product i’ve used. first use i did our brand new civic before driving it from ohio to florida for vacation. while down there the car would get sand all over it then it would rain and car looked as if i detailed it again. after 2 weeks down there we came home and i when i washed the car again the wax was still all over the car when hit w power washer, so i immediately went to dealership and picked up my ridgeline that i purchased while on vacation and got it waxed w this stuff. long story short i was using cg’s ceramic wax and that stuff you couldn’t tell it was on the car when you wash it but now with this stuff i don’t even wash the cars anymore i just foam cannon and rinse and blow dry and your done.
