Melitta 1015-03 Aromaboy Hardware/Electronic

Replaced a 10 cup machine in my small kitchen with this and freed up a lot of space on the countertop. Produces one perfectly hot cup of coffee in a reasonably short period of time and no more noisily than any other drip coffee machine. I stuck the old behemoth on a high shelf for when we have company :).

I bought myself an aromaboy. It is absolutely lovely. I'm really pleased with the look and efficiency of it. I like it so much that I'm buying one for my son as well.

Beware the microwave!!

I bought this second 500ml coffee machine really just for the new jug and handle, so I now have two coffee machines, but only one with a serviceable jug, because I damaged the first one by heating up some cold coffee in the jug in the microwave and did not realise that teh plastic strap and handle would melt. The old jug is still OK for use in teh kitchen but it is bare with no handle. What I like about this coffee maker is that for our breakfast coffee, instead of using a 1 litre machine and maybe wasting coffee if we don't manage to drink it at breakfast. The machine is much lower power, and we only need to use two spoons of coffee beans to fill it with the strength we like. Melitta Aromaboy Coffee Machine

As others have said. Incredibly small. Fine for one cup and a game changer for me. At last a consistent brew. Have used the French Press and Aeropress in the past with various grind sizes and temperatures and occasionally I managed a good cup of coffee. With this machine I am guaranteed a great cup of coffee every time. An added bonus is that once loaded the machine can be left to brew and switch itself off when the drip process has finished and keep the brew hot for up to 40 mins until required. I load the water container midway between the one and two mark which is 160ml and use 10-11gms coffee which gives one small cup to which I add a small amount of milk. Lovely.

Old "Special 711" 1986 vintage.

I have this model that I believe is the parent of the new Aromaboy. I bought it in 1986 when I moved down to London from Cheshire. It is still working nearly every day, the coffee is still great. The only casualty is the top part where you put the filter and ground coffee, the plastic is very warn thin in places, now like the plastic in carrier bags. But for a 35 year old coffee filter machine it's pretty good. I would like a new jug if the manufacturer or supplier can let me know price etc. Thanks.

Snakes!

Very disappointing service from this company.Purchased a £3800.00 La Marzocco Linea Mini from them plus a grinder for £360.00.I get 2 x DPD courier emails saying items on the way (assuming it’s the machine and the grinder).2 days later, get an email explaining they can’t fulfil the order for the order for the coffee machine, as there is supply issues.I asked for an explanation to why they have taken over £4000 from me for an order they can’t fulfil.No response - then realise they have increased the price of this machine to £5760.00 on their website.Very poor way to handle customers - lied to me about unable to get stock. Dishonest and poor customer service.Go elsewhere!
