I love it. It's convenient, easy to use, easier to clean!As long as get my beans grinded right, it makes a perfect coffee everyday. I honestly show it off to all of my friends when they arrive at my home, asking them if they want a coffee. They will all testify, including my wife.

Melitta pioneered these filters about a 100 years ago and they are still the best around and until recently I had to import them...$I would like to see the 100 count rather than the 80 {they make both} but just miles ahead of other locally available brands and less expensive than some Dutch 40 count ones that I had been using.Delivery was prompt and well packed.Just me, but I always use the hot water that I preheat my thermal carafe with to pre-wet and rinse the filter of any taste {especially if you use the brown un-bleached ones} so that I get the best taste and the paper does not have to absorb coffee before it lets the coffee through. {:~)

These filters are perfect for my pour-over china cone. Because they are made from unbleached paper they do not leave a chemical taste. The micro pores allow the ground coffee to diffuse easily, and the method produces excellent coffee in less than 5 minutes. Once used, the filters can be added to the compost heap or food recycling bin and biodegrade easily. Excellent value for money.

Filters very small! They do the job but didnt realise they would be so small. Have to be careful pouring in the water so the coffee doesnt overflow.
.... the correct way to make coffee. I've been using Melitta paper coffee filters for about 27 years, so there are no surprises in my experience. It's the simplest (and healthiest) way to make coffee. Stick some coffee in the filter, pout hot (but not boiling) water over it, and there's your instant coffee. Delivery was a very quick four days, compared with two weeks, when I last ordered them directly from Melitta in Sydney. Filtered coffee tastes better, (much less bitter) and the filter removes harmful compounds that can increase bad cholesterol.
I enjoy filter coffee and have couple of drippers. I recently got a Clever Dripper L hoping that these big 1x4 filters fit, and they fit perfectly! Very happy I can just pop into my local waitrose to get filters instead of having to order expensive ones online !
These are by far a much better filter paper than the Filtropa equivalent. I had used the Filtropa #4 for a long time with my Clever and they just never seemed to sit well inside it. They are just slightly too small to sit against the sides smoothly (always having a point they won't contact) and just slightly to shallow to sit level with the height of the sides. The Melitta fit perfectly and are now actually cheaper. They allow me to fill my Clever up right to the brim so I have enough brew for two decent cups of coffee.
great filter, strong and stable construction. doesn't impart any fibrous flavour into the coffee, but I do always "prime" the filter first before adding my grounds - this was in a video I saw on this site... definitely makes a difference, a more pure coffee flavour!!
