First off, I'm not ever willing to pay more than $100 on athletic shoes. Seconds, having to wear a size 15 make every other shoe company think I will. But when I do find this shoe in my size, I will buy 2 to 4 pair at once. For the price, they work for what I use them for. I do need to put an extra insole in them, but i have very thin feet. The toes tend to peel when wet often. But that's no big deal to me. But once wet, the front will begin to separate quickly. Overall, the price, availability in my size, and, yes, are made in the USA, is why I buy these shoes.

THE WORST PAIR OF SNEAKERS I'VE OWNED!!!The store didn't have any women's slip resistance so I purchased the men's. Huge mistake!!! Have blisters on the sides of both feet, from the leather rubbing against my skin. Had to literally cut the section of the sneakers off to save my skin. Also they are Not slip resistant! I'm still slipping in the restaurant.Super discusted and disappointed. They are very uncomfortable too!!! Save your money!!!

I received my Order U00775475, but one item turned out to be defective: the loop for the lace was torn off . The loop was carefully glued together with some kind of sticky substance to give a normal appearance, but as soon as you pulled the lace, the loop “broke”, leaving traces of glue on the lace.This was a gift for my husband and I was very upset (!!) because the holiday was ruined by a low-quality gift. I did not expect this from such a reputable company as New Balance.

I am so happy that I purchased these shoes. I needed a lighter pair of work shoes. These New Balance tennis shoes relieve the pain I was having in my legs, working on my feet 8 hours per shift on concrete floors. The DSW associate recommended these New Balance shoes because the shoes are so popular with nurses. The slip resistant sole works well and provides good stable support
I have been looking for these sneaker for a few years. Sneaker King went out of business which is where I had been buying them for years. When I saw this site, I was excited to see they carried the extra wide and I am thrilled. Received them today and I am in heaven. They feel so good on my feet. So today, I ordered another pair I'm a different color. I can't thank you enough!!

After about 8 months of wearing them the very cheap and sparse amount of glue they use to glue the top to the bottom releases and causes the rubber soles to literally fall off! This is also a very heavy shoe and because it doesn't have any mesh, there is zero breathability for your feet which creates a perfect breeding ground for foot 🦶fungus! When you first get them, they are comfy but then they give you swamp foot 🦶 and the soles fall off! The only way to fix them is to take out the insoles and and take short sheet metal screws to attach the top to the bottom. This really is a terrible and cheap way to mass produce a shoe and New Balance should either change the separate top and ... I was looking for a decent priced shoe under $100, had positive reviews, versatile for the office, weekends and the gym, and was comfortable without all the unnecessary cushioning those expensive shoes offer, which by the way too much cushioning on your foot is NOT a good thing. I found these in all black, because all black is cool, and for my wide size 14 feet..found these in store on the DSW website. Most stores never have wide 14s which is always a bummer, but I feel blessed to find these in store. Comfortable, not too much cushion, and wide for my feet to breathe. These are an underrated winner. 5 out of 5 in my book!
I bought these shoes for the usual reasons - price, appearance, brand, etc. They are my standard shoe most times but switch to regular sneakers at home or other times. This past week, we had a winter storm of sleet and freezing rain. These shoes have been great for walking on the slick driveways and streets. The other night I put on the sneakers to go outside and started slipping immediately. I went back inside and put on the New Balance shoes. Today I looked at the bottom and noticed "Slip Resistant." And they are that and more.

For those of you that know this shoe (and most of other shoes I have bought from NB), the insole insert was flat and plain and just fine. I can't wear the shoe with this new insert so what to do? I've looked up NB insoles - there are 16 of them! and they all are close to the cost of a new shoe. A nuisance of time and money. I've reached out to NB but my question has been blown off. Am I the only one put off by this ""improvement""?
