I got my timbs on the 20th(ordered on the 14th) - the boots fit like a glove, they are soo heavy and durable. They actually look PREMIUM and go along with most outfits from my closet. For those who are confused, this is the popular OG timberland boots wheat. I normally wear UK 10 but for this ones I went 1 size down and they feel so good. The box will highlight n US size but its your actual size. My feet doesn't have that excess uncomfortable space and they feel very nice.So for this review, I got nothing bad to say but although the cleaning materials should had come with the boots for free instead of buying them separately

In general, this item is not bad, very comfortable when trying it on. Only one significant minus I’ve noticed it’s the smell of rubber it is very strong from these shoes, but oh well, I hope it will dissipate and go away over time. Excellent quality boot

I ordered these boots for my husband, was the last pair available online with John Lewis. My husband is absolutely over the moon with them, he finds them outstandingly comfortable, made to a very high standard, also extremely smart, especially with jeans, The quality of these boots is worth more than five stars. They are very strong boots, beautiful colour, he cannot emphasis strong enough the quality, made to the highest standard you could ever wish for. The delivery to collect from our local friendly Waitrose is also an added bonus, very quick delivery too.

Fabulous Timberland 6" boots

Classic boots that will stand the test of time. I bought these for my teenage son. Looking online I could have saved a bit of money but I decided that I'd rather buy from JL and reap the benefits of their excellent customer service and after care should something not be right.I ordered so I could click and collect at a time to suit me. My son was absolutely overjoyed. We sized up half a size for thick socks and a longer life with a growing teenager. They are a little big so I would recommend going with your official size. My son has had a huge amount of positive comments from his friends so he's thrilled with them! Thank you once again JL!

Happy To Find My Fav Boots

I was not looking for winter boots, but suddenly, these were on QVC.I jumped at the chance to replace my 15 year old Timberland boots for the same pair in dark brown. I usually am a size 7 1/2 in every shoe or boot, but sized up to 8 med and fit is perfect. The leather is tight, and even my first pairs purchased years ago, I needed to size up that half spot for proper fit. With the boot ties, you can make them as true to size as needed, but these wear better with socks, so make adjustments if needed a half size up. But that is my experience and love them.

Not for walking

Terribly roomy heel, stiff and uncomfortable boot. No speed hooks is way more annoying than you think. First walk will feel like you are wearing planks of wood. It breaks in and loosens up a lot, but I still question why I would wear this. So far I say it's for the wet days and maybe yardwork, but I don't even want to wear this. Outsole looks like it will wear out pretty quickly walking streets based on how it looks after just a few hours worth of walking. I feel so clumsy in this thing. I had to replace the insoles just to try and walk normal; my heels felt like they had no support with the insole it comes with.

Reliable and comfortable

I've had my 6" boots for seven years now. Other than a bit of wear on the toe part (scuffing) they look nearly new. The comfort is amazing and I can walk 15 miles without any discomfort. And I can't believe they are still waterproof. Better than my hiking boots that cost more and failed after about 4 years of walking regularly. I use these daily over the 7 years of ownership and would have gone through several pairs of cheaper boots in that time. They are a lot of money but were worth it and I would expect them to last for another 7 years.

[Rewarded Review] Awful quality control

Purchase the cornstalk colored pair thinking they were going to be my daily boots. Boy was I wrong.. Came in with an already messed up box. Opened it and saw many defects such as white colored scuffs all along the outsole. Scratches on the actual leather already. Tried to exchange them and they just gave me money back instead of an exchange. So I had to order another pair, a week later THEY SEND ME THE SAME PAIR BUT WORST. THE OUTSOLE NOW HAD BLACK SCUFFS AS WELL. DO. NOT. BUY.

soles broke down after 2 years frequent use- dissapointed

I Loved it, until the rain came through the stitches.My father used to wear this for 10 years without problems, now i have to replace it after only 2 years? Maybe the stitching is worse, maybe the glue changed I m quite dissappointed, How can you call this workers boots if workers can t use them daily for more then 2 years.. Anyhow the sole broke down too, so i m dissapointed really .I m only angry because i love the look and feel . :DDo better Timberland!
