I have been using GEL-KAYANO series for past 4 years. I upgrade almost every year as the new models bring in more stability and comfort. I had pronation which impacted my running, daily office commute. I had achilles on both foot and cannot forget morning pain but after using GEL-KAYANO my achilles has recovered. I find more pace in my running and stability.

I purchased the platinum's a few weeks ago, & when I wear them, they fully make me want to move! They are my 1st pair of Asics, & the hype seems warranted. The shoes are light & extremely comfy, & are becoming more comfortable after each wear. They look good too. I highly recommend for anyone who wants a comfortable running, workout or even walking shoe. I normally wear size 10, however I did buy 10.5 & that was a good choice, so prob a good idea to consider buying an extra half size. I will be buying another pair of Asics very soon.

I bought these shoes specifically because I have bunions and flat arches. My podiatrist recommended I wear trainers that had high arches and support around the ankles. I was then very pleased to see that I could search for such things on the Asics website. These shoes are a massive investment for me, the price tag is high for what I am used to paying. However, the investment is for my feet to be cushioned and supported to counteract the development of the bunions and improve the way I place me feet when walking. So I feel this price is very justified, as my walking has improved, I am not in pain and I have also done a few short runs with no adverse effect. Plus my children say thet they are 'drip' which is cool apparently! So wins all round.

This is a beautiful shoe in great colors, but the new structure did not fit my feet well. I first ordered these in a 6 1/2 as I read they were running smaller (I wear 6 in Kayano 27), but they were too long so I returned those for ones in a size 6. The size 6 fit too small. These measured the same as my Kayano 27s, but I think the new structure pushes my feet forward. Maybe it has something to do with the extra sole in the back of the shoe? I had to return these. I would recommend trying on this new model before buying if possible.
I was nervous purchasing joggers in the Black Friday sales without trying on in store, but I’m so glad I did. I hadn’t replaced my old Asics in 10 years or so. Putting on these was more than I’d hoped for, like walking ina cloud. I took them to a gym class in the weekend, great support, no slipping, very comfortable. I have wide feet and they’re great!
Perfect for overpronator. The colors are so beautiful. It should be a limited edition and called Peacock shoes. I bought few months ago, and I used it for short and long runs, and It has a good ankel and foot stability. I just felt bad running with such beautiful shoes and make them dirty.
I’ve been using the kayano for my easy runs. I overpronate on my left leg and so far no pain that I experience with other shoes. I don’t notice the weight either. This platinum colourway is great too. Lots of compliments and it’s quite versatile for casual wear. Something that can’t be said of other shoes.
I’ve now purchased two pair of these kayano 29 one week apart in two different colours and for some reason they are made in different countries, the first pair I bought come from Indonesia & were super comfortable so I bought a second pair in a different colour that come from Vietnam that are ok but not as comfy as the first pair. Not sure why they would make them into separate countries and how the comfort would somehow change, both shoes were purchased from athletes foot online.
These are my 5th pair of Kayanos. They are superb running shoes. This was the first time I bought them online (probably the last). There is a slight imperfection on the left shoe. I strongly suggest you review your quality control with the manufacturer or check shoes thoroughly before posting them.
i have been buying Kayano running shoes since high school… a very long time…. and i always wear size 9. but the silver kayano pait is too small. i discovered it while out running. i think i’m going to lose a toenail. so… although they look good - really like the colours this time - i am very disappointed. can you return a pair of shoes you have worn once?
