Sorry to bring this up, but I have to ask: are the "original bar stripes" a bit too thick? Controversial, I know, but sometimes these issues need to raised in an open forum, without fear or favour. Do the stripes say "rugger" or are they a bit… "league", which is known for thicker stripes than the more elite rugger? And don't even get me started on how navy the navy really is? I thought I'd bought a nice top for wearing around the house, but it's fast becoming really quite divisive, almost existential crisis inducing, despite being really comfy and actually very nice, as long as you don't ask questions.

Great Gant quality. Worth the price which is a little higher than normal. Being an American brand, go for a size smaller. Normally an XL but the Gant I'm an L.
Classic rugby jumper that’s perfect for the preppy look. Light & comfortable. Sizes run small, original ordered a M that was returned for a L. For context I wear medium in most brands (176cm tall, 72kg).

High quality fabric - relatively light weight for a rugby top, but warm with a brushed cotton feel. Sizing runs small - buy a size up from your normal sizing. I'm 180cm and 92kg and the 2XL fits me well.
My partner has bought Gant clothing for years, but recently we have noticed that the quality is not what it use to be. This Polo shirt is so thin, you can almost see through it. I bought it in the sale, but even at £70 it is grossly overpriced for the quality of it. Very disappointing.
