The Dancing Suspension Lamp was designed by Iskos Berlin for the brand Audo. Audo is one of Denmark's most innovative lighting labels, acting as a showroom for some of the world's most exciting product designers and many of the most advanced design techniques around. Iskos Berlin is a Danish studio formed by Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos which perfectly suits the label's principles, creating furniture with soul and stories to tell.In this case, the Dancing Suspension Lamp tells a tale of grace and movement, evoking whirling dancers and the spirit of celebration in a great musical composition. Taking a standard suspension lamp format, the Dancing Suspension Lamp hangs from a 300cm cord and features a rippled, cone-shaped shade. The shade's ripples create an appealing play of light and dark, and it measures 95 x 58 cm - large enough to serve as a main light in living or dining rooms. Thanks to the use of felt for the diffuser, the E27 bulb also casts a gentle light, accentuating the folds of the shade and resulting in minimal glare. The bulbs can also be swapped out and replaced as users desire.
