The lamps themselves are beautiful and very tactile. However the LED lights included flicker so badly that we have had to take them out and replace them with Halogen bulbs. LED bulbs are apparently designed to either be fully on or fully off, so they are not suitable for dimmable laps. The halogen bulbs have a filament, the shadow of which shows on the outside of the lamp when it is fully on, which is unattractive but better than feeling like you're in a club with the strobe effect on!

Lovely design, warm soft light that really changes the entire atmosphere of my room. Wanted it for so long and absolutely pleased with it.Only negative point is that it flickers a bit when it's dimmed. That could be improved.Otherwise, I still recommend!

Bought this lamp last month for a client and we are very impressed with the quality. So much that we went back and bought a second one! A solid easy well designed sleek lamp for a bedside. The on off dimmer is so smooth and easy to use. The opaque glass dome creates a beautiful glow. The concrete base gives a contemporary feel. Love this lamp. Will definitely recommend to any future clients.

The lamp produces a beautiful warm light. Also the possibility of dimming (and the surprisingly pleasant sound when you turn the dimmer) is great!However, I am not enthusiastic about the rest - on the contrary! The processing - for the called price - is inadequate. The switch is not central, but inclined. The light shade wobbles and the light is not really stable. A look at the packaging unfortunately confirms my assumption: "Made in China". Too bad, Menu ...
I have had my lamp for approximately 2yrs now. The design is very nice and I love the shape but be aware that the glass will always sit loose. I had to exchange my very first one as it stopped working with no reason. The second (current) has worked ok except for the construction of the control dial. I have had to pull apart the light twice already to tighten screws that allow the dial to control the switch. When loose you just spin the dial with no effect. Very frustrating. Additionally the concrete isn’t sealed meaning it has water marking and dark areas.
I just had to have this lamp; another one even had to go for it! It is a true feast for the eyes and as a table lamp it is exactly the right size - as far as my wishes are concerned. She doesn't need any bells and whistles. The heavy mirror polished brass base harmonizes beautifully with the opal glass dome. Since I always have a stock of light sources in my house, I was able to put them into operation immediately. The JWDA table lamp even has something to offer acoustically, because a pleasant, rich "click" and "clack" sounds when switched on and off with the rotary knob. The textile-covered cable rounds off the stylish appearance of the luminaire. One of those rare times I find something in a hotel room I had to have in my home. The hotel was the Austin Four Seasons, as shown in pic below. Purchased the same light from Lumens for my bedroom nightstands. Good quality build with smooth dimmer control. Nightstands are mirrored, so the reflect the low light well.
I bought this for my young son's room since it was too dim at night for playing and reading. I wanted something that would give the room a nice warm glow, something that would last him for years -nothing too childish- but would also look great in his space now. This light is perfect. I love how well it lights up the space, and was pleasantly surprised that it also has a dimmer function so I can leave a little light on when the monsters are out and about. Very easy to assemble. It's sturdy but not indestructible so we put it slightly out of reach for now. Very happy with this purchase.

The lamp is made from very high quality materials with nice build quality. The switch turns nice and smoothly and the cable is covered in white nylon rope. My only concern is that the lamp could be a little more stable--it's already top heavy and the base sits on three thin foam pads, making it feel a little easy to tip. I wish it had four foam pads instead. This is a wonderful lamp. I wanted an LED lamp for the center of my dining table, and this lamp was perfect. Love the dimmer, the materials, and the design. Awesome.
