Saved time and electrion $$$ by conecting up the fan just to a remote, instead of crawling around in the roof and feeding wire down the wall to a switch.

Unfortunately, the Mercator was not compatible with my electric ceiling fans and had to be returned to Bunnings. Not a product fault, just not able to be used on my fans. Therefore, I am unable to give a realistic rating.

Unfortunately, the Mercator was not compatible with my electric ceiling fans and had to be returned to Bunnings. Not a product fault, just not able to be used on my fans. Therefore, I am unable to give a realistic rating.
Cons: The last unit of the same brand only lasted 3 years. Let's hope this one does better

Very good remote BUT the holder is too small and easy to knock the remote to the floor - which is why I had to replace my remote. I knocked it to the floor and wires broke.
not happy with this brand and this remote model... many times this breaks even before 1 year. I recommend if the fan is getting old maybe consider getting the whole ceiling fan changed to different ceiling fan. :( very disappointing product.
