The best safety razor ever. I'm so glad I finally got the best. The adjustablity, weight and feel of the shaver is amazing. After 12 hours, the shave is still equal to a disposable shave. I can't see a "straight razor" shaving closer. This kit looks excellent and performs even better.

This is my first DE razor and shave brush so I don\'t have anything to compare to, but I can say a few things about the quality of the set.Razor: I have not used the razor above the minimum setting. It\'s quite heavy and I think that\'s the good thing about it. You can just let the weight of the razor do the cutting, and the balance is very good if you hold it at the point where the diameter in the handle changes. I like the simple mechanism for changing blades. I haven\'t had any issues with changing blades that others have experienced. This is a really nice men's shave kit. I think it makes a great gift 4 any man who enjoys shaving or likes using the bar shaving soap and brush with a straight razor. This is a very good quality set, and I definitely recommend it for the man in your life who needs to shave!
Good overall performance. Weight of razor makes shaving effortless without the need to apply pressure. Best looking double edged shaving set on the market. Using razor at higher settings (above 2) seems to be too agressive and results in cuts.

This is a lovely razor set. I purchased it as a gift for a soon-to-be shaver. It certainly has a great deal of man-cache. Paired it with some lovely soap and accoutrements so he starts his journey into manhood on the right foot. The set looks pleasant on the counter and it's sure to last a very long time.
